@OP. The only thing that I have learned from your thread is that a Virgo is capable of analysing something to DEATH!! Are you like this when in a relationship? If you are like this in a relationship I can't imagine your relationships lasting very long!!!

I just have to point out, I said that I let it go 8 pages back. It's the Scorpios that keep replying and asking me to clarify earlier statements, or that keep drudging it back up 🙂

Most of my relationships have been very long, actually. Before this girl, I had a fairly brief but exceptionally intense and passionate relationship with a Pisces. She talked to me all day, every day, and was just as analytical as me. She still loves me, in fact, even though we broke up 7 months ago; she left to reconcile with the father of her children.

Before that, I was in a 20 year relationship with another Pisces. I broke up with her last year, and she's still trying to win me back.

Since she and I broke up, I've had several old girlfriends contact me and try to get back together.

Before the LTR Pisces, I dated an Aquarius for 2 years. I broke up with her, and she was devastated. I've been told that she still talks about me a lot, and refers to me as the love of her life.

There's also another Scorpio girl that I've known for 4 years that is dying to be with me. She's gorgeous, too, but just too young for me. I told her that if I'm single in a year and she's still interested, we can discuss it then.

So, I guess the point is... I'm not entirely undesirable.

Give me one sign that is as analytical as a virgo? I dare you?

Just because it's interesting... there are 2 types of intelligence: analytical and perceptive. Analytical intelligence can be measured, like with an IQ test.

By saying that Virgos are exceptionally analytical, you're saying that we have a high analytical intelligence. I don't know how we compare as a sign in terms of IQ, but I know that mine was tested as 152 in high school.

Scorpios, however, are considered one of the most perceptive signs. So, while being a very intelligent sign, it's a different type of intelligence than Virgos have.

As you've obviously seen here, Virgos will solve a problem by writing down the details and turning it in to a sort of math equation. Scorpios will solve it by looking at it as a whole.

Which is one reason why I think Virgos and Scorpios work well together. We might get on one another's nerves at times, by by approaching an issue from two different directions, we can come to a greater solution.

With that said, though, I believe that, in general, Aquarius is notoriously more analytical (and analytically intelligent) than Virgo.

Yup! Although I'm quite analytical as a Scorpio but I'd say I'm more perceptive.

Sorry for the delay in replying!

She and I are over :-) There was a confusing period where she just didn't reply to my texts for 4 or 5 days, then came back to tell me that she had just turned the service back on to her phone. I realized at that point that I was more irritated to hear from her than happy, though. The hot-and-cold treatment was just too much for me.

Later, she referred to me as a friend... "like a brother". That was a major change from a recent conversation we'd had about making out.

That was 2 or 3 days ago, and I haven't spoken to her since. I already have a sister... and we don't exactly get along! LOL

I was hesitant to add this, but what the heck, might as well be honest.

Before she turned off her phone, she did end up asking me for money to help with her grandma. I said no; explaining that, with taxes, home improvements, etc, I simply didn't have it to give. I'm pretty sure she didn't believe me, though.

We exchanged 2 or 3 more messages, then I went to dinner. I invited her, but she said that she'd already eaten. She ended with "enjoy your dinner", like everything was fine.

Then I didn't hear from her for 4 or 5 days.

Then she gave me the "you're like a brother" message.

Yeah, I can't help but feel like I was being used. I even question the whole issue with grandma, honestly. I think that maybe she was more attracted to my money than me, and this was a test to see how freely I would give her money.

Yup. It's just irritating, really, because that's a lot of time wasted that I could have devoted to a girl that really was interested.

I'll just never understand the logic. Why lead someone on if you're not romantically interested? It can't be that personally rewarding (ooh, I got an ugly guy to like me?), and you're certainly not doing the other person any favors. She wasted just as much time and energy as I did, but for her it seems like a conscious effort to waste time.

Whatev's. It's over and done, lesson learned 😄

The brother thing is likely to be bullshit. It's said to rule out any possibility of anything happening. Like nail in the coffin.

Lesson learnt and agree it's irritating but you chose to continue and pursue. Never mind, her loss! If she's not mature enough (which she didn't sound it) then better off without. You dodged a bullet there fella! 25 and saddled with two kids... You can do better!

I have really learned a lot from this. I know now that, sexually, I'm strongly attracted to Scorpios, and it seems to be reciprocated... for a short period. Once the fire dies down, though, so does the interest. From both sides.

There's a strong long-term attraction between myself and Pisces, but we don't really work out well.

Long term, my best compatibility seems to be with Libra.

There are obviously other factors to consider, of course, but when I look at the romantic interests throughout my life, this seems to be a pretty consistent pattern.
