Fellow Scorps...Scorp moons can chime in too

What would you do if you walked into a place to eat, sat at the bar for a drink first, and the guy next to your friend starts chatting you both up...you realize he's quite buzzed, and don't understand what he said or asked and so you try to clarify the question to make sure you have it right and he says, "just shut your mouth, and let me speak"...(lol)? Reminded me of Grumpy from Snow White.

This intrigued the shit outta me.. I admired his balls, and it took me back for just a second.

I interrupted him purposely this time...and my response was (I HAD to know)


".....when's your birthday??" He's says "wut"? (with that how dare you not listen to me...) "when's your birthday??" Actually threw him off..

JUNE 29TH! I giggled, and said, "carry on, I won't interrupt again..." 😄

For the record, I usually just don't ask someone their b-day, I like to guess. Not this time...I had to know right then and there. lol

He was BUZZED... I was in a BAR. I guess my logic and choosing not to be judgmental took over.

I found it to be great comic relief after watching my GIANTS lose a chance at the playoffs...~shrugs~

see im kinda the opposite with age lol its harder and harder to get under my skin and id probably have the same reaction as Be, a little giggle and smirk.
i dont take much personally these days...

I like bars, but I'm not there looking for men - so maybe that's why I've never had one tell me to shut my mouth? My interaction is strictly platonic and in my past when it wasn't, men were overly nice, maybe this is a new pick up method, she is so used to being worshipped at a bar - this way she will remember me?? Either way, I don't like rude men, I like a confident man and with that confidence, he knows he doesn't have to be rude to get people to listen to him. But that's what makes the world exciting, we all like different things in different people.

I would have said, "oh, ok I'm listening....." as I get up with my drink and walk away. I really can't stand rude people, and I would have considered it rude. I know, he was in a bar and drinking.....and that's a huge reason I don't go to bars. I don't want to socialize with drunks.

Me either. However the food in this restaurant is why I was there and it was dinner time. If there's a restaurant who happens to serve excellent food with a bar in it, I could care less whose eating or whose drinking. I enjoy life. 😉
