How does the Capricorn sun relate to Scorp moon....they are sextile, so i wonder if it as easier pairing than say the squared or inconjunct suns

I'm extremely attracted to Scorpio women, but thus far none of them have stuck around for the long haul. While dating I tend to burn through one a year. I like them, they like me just fine too, but the devil is always in the details and it just doesn't end up working out. They make great friends though! It just gets complicated when things get naked and/or committed.
I think there's enough commonality between Scorp Suns and Scorp Moons to understand one another, but not quite enough to agree with one another in some important ways.

Btw - Most jealousy *I* ever had to deal with from somebody? She was a Cap Sun, Gem Moon, Merc in Cap, Venus in Cap, Mars in Aqua. Since, I have fled the combination of 2 or more of those placements, especially the Gem Moon, in terror any time I encounter it irl.
Scorpio Moons aren't the only ones who can get so jealous they go 'nanners! 😉 We just bury bodies better and use more lime.

Jealous/possessive party in my case was a virgo sun/cap moon. If I hadn't gone away to study I probably would have ended up marrying him.

I am always open to eventualities Jules, but at the moment, i have no room for a relationship in my life. I may take a lover man 😛 after our son leaves home for college, but not feeling that vibe at the moment 🙂

Well I don't want my Sag Merc and I to hijack the OP's thread... but in short, I think my understanding of it may be simplistic to some. However, it's functional and works for me.
Capricorn Sun, by virtue of that giant stick that Saturn shoves up all our asses from birth, probably helps one control some of the excesses of the Scorp Moon better than some other sun signs would. However, you also have the natural Capricorn mood swing funk... now supercharged by the Scorp Moon which also has it's own mood swing funks. This is much of the reason why I harp on "Have a pressure release!" like a broken record any time I talk about Scorpio moons and how to deal with them.
On the flip side, it makes one very perceptive when we want to be, and I also think it sort of supercharges the highs as well. Your lows will be lower, but your highs will be higher as well. If you can master the art of recognizing when you're slipping into a funk... and go do your "pressure release" hobby or some project to consume your attention before you slip fully into it... you're golden. Hence, why I have tons of hobbies and projects.
I will also say the funky lows have diminished a lot for me with age. In my teens and early 20s they could last weeks at a time. By my late 20s and early 30s, a week or so at a time. Late 30s... 3 days at a time. Now at 44, if I'm in a funk it's usually for a single evening, and happens more rarely as well. Likewise if I can realize "Hey I'm slipping into a depressed/funky mood" and take up one of my projects, play some guitar... or whatever - Focusing my attention on that stops the slide dead cold and all is right with the world.
The Cap Sun and it's stick up the ass is good at keeping us grounded. Saturn loves to tell us not to engage in foolishness.
I've likened having a Scorpio Moon to having a big hammer before. You can use a hammer to smash, destroy, inflict pain, wound, cripple... likewise you can use a hammer to build, create, craft, forge.. it's a tool. Your hand, and decisions, guide it. The Scorpio Moon placement does seem to have a lot of power, and imho supercharges the emotional response in some of your other placements. However, you can channel that energy into good things just as easily as you can channel it into bad things. It's a matter of making good decisions, knowing yourself, and observing healthy limits for yourself; not some inescapable cat lady astrological doom.
Unfortunately I didn't inherit the good looks of your Heathcliff above. I'm a Scorp Moon who got beat with the ugly stick lol

Thanks for this. I'm a Capricorn Sun, Scorpio Moon and I needed to hear this. I learned in class that mental health generally improves with age for everybody, and the middle-ages are the prime time for a high level of mental well-being.
I'm still young so I'm trying hard to develop those coping skills and abilities that will be my own tools for life..it's hard though, and I get scared that I'll be set in my negative, not-so-productive ways of dealing with stress and emotional mood swings (e.g. avoiding reality and responsibilities, projecting onto other people, isolating myself, etc.)
I used to have so many hobbies and projects I was invested in growing up from my childhood to my early teenaged years, but then I eventually stopped being interested in real hobbies, and I now I spend my time doing passive hobbies like watching videos on the internet, shows, browsing social media etc. I really want to get that part of the old me back but I feel unmotivated and uninterested for the most part at present.

I'm rather surprised at your take on Gem moons being jealous, would think there would be airy detachment especially with Aqua Mars. Maybe it's a human thing instead? I know I'm not into sharing my man when in a relationship, not at all...

That one was. I won't go into it too much here, it would totally derail the thread and go off topic. Suffice it to say, Scorp Moons (and suns) aren't the only ones who can take jealousy to crazy extremes. This particular gem moon had a *dream* that I cheated, and treated me as though I had for a month.
Point is: Any sign, any placement, can be BAT SHIT CRAZY. It's about people and their bad decisions and hangups, not astrology. Astrology just provides a set of paths of least resistance for things to go good, or bad. That's how I see it anyway.
Scorp moons do struggle with certain things a little more than most, but scorp suns, cancers, caps... even the usually very agreeable Virgo and Taurus signs can also go off the deep end with jealousy. Any sign can.
I do think our placements give us different sets of tools to work with, but in the end, one way or another, we all end up facing the same fundamental issues in life. We just surmount them or succumb in different ways.
Whatever your sign is you probably better just keep making your margaritas and leaving the bodies to the pro's! :p

Well to me if you're a Scorpio Mars you disqualify from claiming any Sun sign. You just get to be that placement which is punishment enough.
