Oldest/Youngest

Understanding Age Differences in Relationships

Age differences in relationships can influence dynamics and compatibility. The youngest or oldest person someone dates often reflects personal preferences, maturity levels, and life stages. It's important to consider emotional connection and shared values beyond age when evaluating relationship potential.

you doubt that i am? is that based on your cynicism of all women, branh? or are you actually attempting to be real and is it based on some character flaw you might see in me personally?

because i never said i deplored men my own age. im dating a wonderful person of my own age right now 🙂... i embrace all of him, even his financial struggles. and im not going to ask myself anything prompted by someone who doubts me and is pressumptuous of me without even knowing me, or at least the situation of topic. nor will i try to explain the perfectly fine relationship i HAVE with the older man, as he and i are still good friends. besides, im pretty sure this topic has been covered before with you offering the same exact two pennies and me making the explanation i now dont care to bother with. lol

and consider that not every relationship with women who are with way older men are solely because of the woman's preference.

The *youngest* person I dated was 3 yrs. OLDER than me...
The *oldest* person IS 11 yrs. older...

Most guys I date are about 5 yrs. older... an occasional 1yr. younger than me or a few months... there is some very handsome 20 year olds and younger, damn!, but that's just too weird for me lol Last weekend I met this !HOT! 20 year old who thought I was younger than he... but I DO NOT LIE... I TOLD HIM my age... I AM twenty-too 😉

branh... you very loosely use that term way too much, imo. the word 'ideal' can waffle back and forth in definition between 'perfectly imagined' and 'standard of excellence'. two pretty different things. take the latter definition and answer this... who on earth ISNT bound to their idealism? hrmm?? idealism does NOT only mean UNpractical perfection. for someone like me... it's a standard that i'm after and my standard is very much on the plane of reality that i walk on.

so i'm going to put it this way... is anyone out there not bound to their own standards?

"EVeryone is bound to some standard. But I think my standards are more bound to reality than people like yours."

or perhaps more bound to settling for mediocrity. if you're always going to be skeptical of higher standards and better people then you should always expect to have to deal with the rabble. because you can have high standards that simply stand above the rest while still living among the rest. not standards that shoot into the stratosphere. that way theres the vantage to pick out others who are similar, while avoiding disillusionment from the crowd.
