Posted by AquaScorpio9They like lots of space too. Probably a Libra moon.
Scorpio is a passionate sign who thinks with their heart whereas Virgos are logical thinkers and are not very in tune with their emotions. With a Scorpio Sun Virgo Venus, these folks are likely to be intelligent, kind, supportive, detail-oriented, analytical, critical and difficult-to-please individuals. The Virgo Venus reins back Scorpio's spontaneity and fiery passion and instead approaches romance cautiously and thoughtfully. They're very fussy about who they pick for a partner and probably are more interested in looking for a soul mate than a fling. They hold a high regard for sex - whether it be that they value chastity/afraid sex will tarnish them if with the wrong person or whether it's because they love it so much.
With Venus in the 11th House, logic once again overrules emotions. They're very social and enjoy interacting with different people and expanding their network. They're likely to pick up an interest in social matters and an awareness in maintaining an impeccable social appearance. Romance could also be built on the foundation of friendship here and it would help if their partner was on the same page as them.

No need to apologize. Merc Rx ending and all, I seem to be stuck on "literal".
Well my initial statement stands, they are just different versions of myself over the years. Scorp Sun, there is a mutual understanding and transparency, so I don't quite get the "mystery" aspect others talk about on the boards. I guess I am immune to the "Twilight" glamour Scorps seem to exude . I tend to enjoy older Scorps and bit more as the younger ones require a different level of patience and the right mood.
Virgo is my fav earth sign placement. My Merc cousin, so the communication style is appreciated (much of the time). Virgo Venus, very protective and loving in a controlled way, but too.....rigid if that makes sense---and that's coming from a very fixed Scorp. There is a bit of detachment that seems safer for them. I find people with this placement need to learn to break the rules a bit and not just because it's safe to do so. Just because...well, it will simply be okay if you do.
Combined.....you basically have Sherlock and Moriarty, which I believe are really one person---but that's for another thread.

Hmmmm....yeah all that water will make it hard to understand the need for distance/space. I can relate to the need for regular space. Just remember it's usually not due to a lack of love, but a desire for individual growth. And all that watery warmth is probably appreciated when he returns, even if he doesn't say it outright.

Posted by SodapopVirgo sun, scorpio Venus here.Posted by AquaScorpio9Completely agree. Somehow Virgo here trumps Scorpio and eventually wins over Scorpios emotions by constantly going back to "the real world". Personally for me I'm not a big fan. If it was Virgo sun and Scorpio Venus it would have been a smoother run.

Posted by m200991His scorpio sun is conjunct his ascendant, mars, and Pluto. All in the first.Posted by shaymaciI'd just like to point out that Virgo in Venus is in fall which causes it to loose it's strength or influence, in house 11 which is normally ruled by Aquarius (it's Quincunx), so it's negatively placed.

That would push Scorpio Sun into House 1 with the Ascendant (not necessarily conjunct, but they'd be in the same house.) The Sun would be in peregrine which would make aspects to it more determining. it's also in a Quincunx since house 1 is normally ruled by Aries.

I have the same venus, mars and moon as your guy but in different houses. We do need space but not to the point of excluding you from daily life... You both have 12th house placements, don't you need alone time to recharge your batteries as well? If not you would do well with an Aries with scorpio moon, they don't want to leave your side ever 😄

I find people with this placement need to learn to break the rules a bit and not just because it's safe to do so. Just because...well, it will simply be okay if you do.
Combined.....you basically have Sherlock and Moriarty, which I believe are really one person---but that's for another thread.
My bae has these placements with his Libra moon in the 12th, and scorpio sun and mars in the 1St.
He loves his space and distance, and I'm all water and hating it.
Scorpio Venus 12th, pisces moon 4th, cancer mars 8th.
I don't understand space. ??
Hmmmm....yeah all that water will make it hard to understand the need for distance/space. I can relate to the need for regular space. Just remember it's usually not due to a lack of love, but a desire for individual growth. And all that watery warmth is probably appreciated when he returns, even if he doesn't say it outright.

Truth be told I don't feel anything for any Scorp. In many cases its like interacting with a different version of myself.
My bad ??
No need to apologize. Merc Rx ending and all, I seem to be stuck on "literal".
Well my initial statement stands, they are just different versions of myself over the years. Scorp Sun, there is a mutual understanding and transparency, so I don't quite get the "mystery" aspect others talk about on the boards. I guess I am immune to the "Twilight" glamour Scorps seem to exude . I tend to enjoy older Scorps and bit more as the younger ones require a different level of patience and the right mood.

To me 12th house is the most interesting yet hardest to understand. It's the house of karma, affliction, imprisonment, illness, hidden enemies, addictions, psychic abilities and as you said setbacks. I have a Scorpio ruled 12th as well, with my mars there conjunct neptune in the 11th. Do you feel as if there are very few people in this world that truly get you? I miss Elle, we used to have good exchanges about this placement.
You will learn to set boundaries with people, not to give your 100% until you are sure they deserve it. But I totally get the attraction to Scorpio energies, they are the people I feel most connected with (except Pisces) as well because they aren't afraid of the dark depths...

Okay, I think this may have answered some of what I asked above.
This whole "emotional neglect" thing may be partly your issue to resolve. One can't blame another person for not meeting the expectations they have when it comes to love/relationships, especially when it's based on the standards they set for themselves. You identify neglecting yourself, being devoted to him like no other, etc, all things you determined is how you want to express love. If someone doesn't meet that, it doesn't mean they love you any less, they simply choose to express it differently.
For example, I have to challenge myself all the time because I have very high expectations when it comes to loyalty and it can lead me to feel slighted or betrayed leading to issues where there really isn't one. That is on me though. I have to be open to another person's approach.
My point is, what you've written above reads like you want him to cater to your needs and you're fed up that he isn't meeting them simply because you said it's important to you (e.g. "I'm at the point where I just don't care if I hear from him"). Okay, well space is important to him. So where is the middle ground?
Don't assume that his lack of contact means you're not on his mind, you're not a concern or a thought. He simply doesn't need to express that in a way you like to express it (e.g. reaching our daily). I'm not suggesting he doesn't have to work on compromising, but you do as well as far as your expectations are concerned. Therefore, rather than approaching it from "to feel more secure I would like" (when you address it with him), perhaps approach it from "I know you need your space, I also need to feel connected to you because I love you...how do we both get our needs met?"
Try to be direct, but gentle and very clear about what you feel and would like to see from him (not what he "needs to do") and then leave him alone to process what you've said. Don't do the Virgo nag thing to try to drive the point. Make your point and leave it alone.

Oh yes to all of this, especially to wearing blinders when in "love". It also takes me a long time to get there but I am 100% devoted when in a relationship. This is why I've spent the past three years single except for a 10 month FWB situation with a Scorp sun/mars/venus. I need to take care of me and know my own needs, and learn how to have a healthy, balanced relationship instead of attracting takers/control freaks.
I say let's start a 12th houser support group on dxp. 😛

My bae has these placements with his Libra moon in the 12th, and scorpio sun and mars in the 1St.
He loves his space and distance, and I'm all water and hating it.
Scorpio Venus 12th, pisces moon 4th, cancer mars 8th.
I don't understand space. ??
I have the same venus, mars and moon as your guy but in different houses. We do need space but not to the point of excluding you from daily life... You both have 12th house placements, don't you need alone time to recharge your batteries as well? If not you would do well with an Aries with scorpio moon, they don't want to leave your side ever 😄
It makes me love and be devoted to him like no other, and I basically live and breathe the person I love. We always love people who can't love us the way we need. Always neglecting ourselves for them.
It's a HUGE setback. Research a 12th house Venus.
We can literally go almost 2 days without contact. It doesn't phase him.
It bothers me, yes. He knows how big I am on communication. Still does it.
I'm at the point where I just don't care if I hear from him, it's not gonna improve anything because he's ignorant to what's going on with me.
its even worse if someone is big time romancing me. i will literally ignore all red flags bc i LOVE love, romance etc.
i have also been know to be attracted to fuck ups, drug addicts & emotional messes.
really been working on that though ?
You just described me ??
All the guys I tend to be attracted to are sooooo fucked up. And my ex was on meth —
i love a misunderstood bad boy. it is sooo dumb ?

None of the people I'm close to either.
It's extremely frustrating.
And that energy is like a drug to me.
I am Plutonian myself, with my scorpio rising, 8th house mars, Juno and various other placements in scorpio. All in the 12th aside from Pluto (which is conjunct my ascendant).

Remember we are the healers of the world, that's why we attract the damaged people that need help. My question is where are our support systems/healers? I've gotten to the point I want to be alone for the most part with a select few friends, music, nature and wine/herb. My ex was a pisces sun, moon, and mercury.
I loved him more than any other man, but he turned out psycho and abusive.
I get tired of helping and healing people who don't care for anyone but themselves.

I don't even wanna be around people anymore, aside from my son. Oddly, he's a Pisces. But I'm a mother, I don't wanna be separated from my baby anyway.

Enjoy your son, he will bring you the most joy in life (I have three). Most other people in your life will come and go...for whatever reason they are meant to I guess that's our lesson to learn in life.

I'll try. It's like walking on eggshells concerning his emotions.
Hmmmm. Can you elaborate please. Are you referring to opening up to you when he needs space, or is it hard to tell him how his actions make you feel?
How long does he take space and how is it causing emotional neglect?
If I want us closer, it irritates him.
And I mean closer emotionally, which is what I need, talking about things for the future.
I asked him where he saw himself in 5 years, that apparently is a no.click to expand

Hmmm, well forgive me for stating this but it sounds like you two may be talking a different language. working towards being "emotionally close" and talking about "the future" are different things. At least it is for me. One speaks to vulnerability, letting you know my heart, fears, desires and hope (more Scorp focus) and the other speaks to security (more Virgo focus). Now discussions about the future may be synonymous with emotional closeness for a you...but maybe not for him?
That may be the issue. Do you think he may be feeling like you don't trust he'll be around in the future so he's irritated with the doubt? If you're pushing a conversation about the future he may be wondering why that is.

I don't like arguing. Neither does he.
But misunderstandings cause them.
And him getting defensive causes them.
I literally have to let him know that I'm not attacking him, not to take anything so personally.
