Does any Scorpio here study or is interested in physics? If so, then please, you are welcome to comment on the following:

I am a physics student, my very first eye opener when it comes to physical and metaphysical systems of life, was of course, astrology. Once I started studying the planets with a virtual real position of the planets on our solar system I started having an insight into what it really means to think about life in respect to its physical characteristics.
Making a point; I would like to say that I do strongly disagree on some points made by Carl Sagan on his opinion about Astrology: he said that a planet like mars could have no effect on humans due to its distance away from earth, saying that the gravitational pull as well as its electromagnetic properties had nothing to do with us humans. Well I disagree on that, and strongly. He had said that the sun would be the only mass to have real effect on the human behavior because it is visually and constantly active, and that is true, but his point is wrong.

Here comes my part of this self made debate: Physically, I dare to propose that if mars were to disappear, the eintire solar system would change, causing humans to, of course, change (global thermal crisis).
It must be made clear that I do not agree entirely with all the ideas of Astrology (and that is not only based on the discussion about why twins are different), but because it has been changed to manipulate its real meaning (I will, for now, leave this with no further explanation).

I do, though indeed, believe that every thing that involves this planet, this solar system, this entire galaxy, (and let me even exaggerate and say that the movement of other galaxies; correlate gravitationally or at least hyperdimensionally with our galaxy and therefore) are an influence on humans.

Please leave valueble comments below.

Ps: I opened this thread because I want to see new ideas, that I am hoping would be astrologically deeply interconnected (scorpio mercury) to the idea of astrology being physically active on humans.

CBmercury,

I believe that your absolutely correct. In fact anyone who could possibly believe himself to be a true physicist would have to be convinced that everything in some small way OR LARGE way effects us all and all the galaxies of the universe.

But educated assumptions about energies effects on one end of the spectrum could be as bad as assuming that removing an entire planet from a solar system has no effect on it.

I believe if Mars were to disappear then we would definitely have to change our plans for colonization of other planets as well as terraformation. Though I feel if Mars were to disappear it would have really nothing to do to affect the solar system. It would be the same as always, just minus one planet. It takes 7 Zettatons to reduce Earth into orbiting the sun. With Mars being a quarter of our size, maybe only 800 Exatons. It would only affect us if the blast wave and radiation reached our planet.

The user, James Tate, teaches physics I believe.

James tate is a very famous individual in this forum... mistake me if I am wrong, but I am almost sure he is more of a want-to-just-be-cool-kind-of guy.

Question for you: do you have a sense of humor? Like at all?
Or is reading physics books all you do?

Are you trolling the Scorp board for mens?
??

No, that's what Leo forum is for!😛

I just figured this board could use some laughs. Perhaps, an enema would be a better choice, especially with that uptight assh...aqua guy I mean:/

LOL

Oh hush 🙂

Astrology aside, IF Mars were to be removed from it's orbit, it would alter the balance of the solar system. However, it would NOT do so overnight, but eventually, the effects would be felt, but not until after a long time afterward.
IF the moon were to disappear, then most definitely, the effects would be felt immediately.

Our solar system is like a fractional-sized timepiece, it requires balance to maintain consistent
time. However, it's pales compared to rest of the horological celestial clock that comprises of
all the galactic objects known and unknown to man.
Man may say the Universe is so many years old, but he doesn't truly know it's true age.

The time will come when it will all pass away. Matter will not matter.

Changing plans for colonization within our solar system would not be possible. I am convinced that Mars, if removed from the solar system (due to pure imagination, so no electromagetic radiation problems) would lead every orbiting planet to change its ellipsical characteristics around the sun, therefore having an amazingly strong effect on the environment of earth, leading to an amazingly great adaption barrior on humans. So again, it will not be the same as always, even pluto out of the solar system would cause quite extreme changes (which by the way, that is exactly how pluto was discovered; noticing that the solar system would behave how it does due to another outer planet.

Anyways I have always liked to view solar systems like massive atoms with single dedicated electrons(planets) per energy level(ring).

There is an interesting fact to this that you might want to be aware of, and that is, people did during the late 19th century believe this, or at least they liked to see it that way.

Later it turned out that electrons do move elliptically around the nucleus, just like the moon around the earth or the earth around the sun; except that atomically we can never tell for sure where the moon in respect to earth, or the earth in respect to the sun, would be. Funny uh. Had this not been true, quantum mechanics would not exist.

Well, at least the matter we now know...

(And yes, transformations take time; it would be fair to say that time and space correlate this way. But it is important to point out, that a very small relocation would be harder for earth due to its flora and sauna, many animals would go extinct due to inbalance or call it new balance due to different thermal conditions, one will either Charles Darwin himself 😉 or do nothing and watch the others adapt. In few words, this would lead humans to newer behavior characteristics, and this correlates to the idea of planets being responsible for a potential effect on humans, though not direct of course.)

Thanks for the feed back!
