Scorpios always returning to the ones who hurt them

Do y’all think scorpios forgive easily and keep returning to people who have wronged them until they reach a personal breaking point?

I notice I tend to forgive easily and sometimes ignore red flags (I like to give people benefit of the doubt but my bf still accuses me of “just assuming the worst from people”; maybe I’m just selective about who’s red flags I ignore). I always figured this quick-to-forgive thing was due to my Sagittarius placements, but I recently befriended this sag chick and she was like “um I’m pretty sure that’s a Scorpio thing”.

I always thought scorpios were the type to plot out revenge and hold grudges, but then again scorpio is a fixed sign so I could also see how they are inclined to return to people who hurt them instead of finding new people to surround themselves with.

Scorpios are always feeling slighted. I can only imagine the rage festering inside when their amazon prime package dosent get delivered on time. Down the drain goes the relationship with mailman

Scorpios would rather have someone to be miserable with than be miserable alone.

Scorpios don't like unfinished business. They will return to finish the job.

Not me. I do not come back when I'm done with someone. There's no 2nd chance with me, they're dead.

I feel this way in some cases too. Some things are just unforgivable, but other things I can allow to happen again and again for some time before I decide to seek new pastures.

I got the feeling like UVD said we're are just the risk-free company for one another. We've known each for lightyears now, and we know we don't need it to be anything more than what it is. Plus it's great nowadays that she doesn't push my buttons and vice versa.

To me, red flags are just signs someone shows that they either don’t want to be your friend for the right reason or are overall not a good person. Like someone faking their suicide, to me that’s a red flag and personally I probably wouldn’t hang around someone after they pull something like that.

Or there are other people I randomly get bad feelings from, but no evidence to support why I get the bad feeling so I end up ignoring it and giving them a chance. Quite a contradicting life being clairsentient and also a skeptic of clairsentience.

I think it’s the Sag. My daughter is a Scorpio and she does a lot of returning to those who hurt her. It’s not about forgiveness, but that she still loves them. No matter how hurt she is.

I forgive way easier than her. She remembers freaking everything!

Taurus and Libra sounds gross af to me. Almost as bad as Libra Pisces or Libra Scorpio lol

I still think the positives of Libra Taurus are too good to pass up. If there is any Scorpio/Taurus or Sagittarius/Gemini involved then I’m there.

I wonder if it’s just all my Aries placements being disgusted by Libra suns 🤔 I have a Libra friend who came to visit and we had soul level connecting over beauty but idk how well that would transfer over to romantic stuff lol

I’d say this is pretty true.

Except for me positivity is like crack. I was telling my therapist the other day that’s why I like compliments from people; not because it makes me feel valuable, but because it means the compliment giver is comfortable enough with who they are that they can point out the qualities in other people. I feel like people who aren’t comfortable with who they are only focus on the negative traits of people and point those out, and that’s offputting energy to me.

On the note of amputating to preserve a relationship, I find myself doing amputations so I won’t think negatively of a person in the future. Like if I can see them doing some messed up things to me, I cut them off early so I won’t get to see that side of them.

No I don’t forgive easily. I hold grudges. Even if I return to people who hurt me, it’s usually because of attachment and codependency issues, or unfinished businesses, not because I have forgiven them. I think if I were more forgiving, I would not feel the need to contact them. I return to people because it’s like when I do online shopping, I contact the company when I paid but didn’t receive what I ordered. I contact people because I feel they owe me something such as didn’t put in as much effort in a relationship.

I’m like you as well. I usually... maybe 95% of the time, cut or amputate. It’s very easy for me to do... especially when I have seen toxic behavior in the other person.

But recently I’ve found myself forgiving someone I consider extremely toxic and it has shocked me. The only reason I have forgiven this person is for something very supernatural. It’s actually embarrassing to talk about because I’m not a believer of such things... or, I just feel uncomfortable with it and prefer not to believe in it. But, I’ve experienced it with this person and although I see him as extremely toxic in human form... I still love his soul and see him in a very expanded way, rather than a personal internal way.

Anyway... I’ve realized there is a way for me to be forgiving after someone has been very evil with me. And that is very shocking to me. I’ve surprised myself.

Also... I don’t keep grudges for small stuff. I’ve noticed fire and air signs keep grudges much faster than me. So, overall... I do try to be understanding, I’m not easily bothered.

Sometimes you have to go with what your gut tells you! Though I’m still learning to go with what my gut tells me. It will tell me when someone is bad, but I still give them a chance because I want to understand why they are dark.

So it irks me when people complain about the way so-and-so treats them, but they don’t even try to understand what’s going on in so-and-so’s mind so it just creates a cycle of mistreatment and victimhood.

I think I get this ‘need to understand’ from my mutable parents. My Gemini mom is big on making excuses for people (“maybe they act this way because ______”) and my virgo dad is good at reading people in general.

Yes, but I do know my limits and now avoid situations that are severely sketch. Even in my call girl days I didn’t give much time of day to people who made my stomach turn unless I knew they had a reason not to harm me.

I've seen alot of darkness. It came to me, I certainly didn't chase it. My father was paranoid schizophrenic since I was 4. He raised me until 8. I lived a Stephen King novel.

And, that's not the half of it. Those who are meant to probe darkness have no choice.

I think we all have different requirements for forgiveness. For me, if I understand why someone did what they did it’s easier to forgive them and then forget them. If the wounds of what they did run deeper beyond my capacity to forgive then I turn inwards and question why I am so affected and try to work on that personally.

But I definitely do think it’s different for everyone.

Damn that must’ve been intense with your dad. Schizophrenics are an example of the kind of people who made my stomach turn, though there was a schizophrenic woman I did befriend and I will tell you every time I visit her I do get nervous 👀 Last time I visited her she took me to her ex-girlfriends house to retrieve some of her old clothes, and she told me to wait in the car to make sure it doesn’t get carjacked but also keep my seat down because we were in a part of the hood where white people aren’t welcome. The whole time I was sharing my location with my boyfriend just in case something bad happened 😬 I haven’t visited her since then because that was a super intense day.
