I'm screwing up all over the place when I deal myself. Buuut if I talk it out, get a few pointers, it helps just a little.
What everyone has said is true, YOU need to end it because HE won't. And this can and will go on for as long as you allow it. Which may seem grand now, but it won't in lets say a year or two years. He's doing it because he knows he can..you're allowing it; and, he wants the security of knowing and feeling you are still there in SOME form. Whether he loves you or not doesn't matter. It doesn't. It could be words to convince you to keep hanging on. Scorps are actions, not words. Once words start fitting their actions, then you're gold...both good and bad. Words might be forced by feelings, but he's wanting to know that no matter what you will be there, dun dun dun--->for now. He can't give you an answer of what you did? He doesn't want you to know. One, he has control right now because look at how you are? A puppet on his string. And two, he wants to know or see if YOU can figure it out in what you did. Even if it's minute to you, if it's a slight in any form in his mind? You better get, understand, evaluate yourself, learn from it, and hope for the best with him. As for you dating others, he's testing you of loyalty. BUT, he also knows how much you love him so he wants to play the guilt trip on you too so you're not leaving him in the dust. If you don't stop this now, he'll bring the new gal into this where you're the sideline beauty to him while he gives her the prize for being his #1 girl...all the while, telling you what you want to hear so you'll keep hanging on; OR, turn into the jackass you've been waiting for but haven't yet seen. Don't be fooled. If you want to know what his thoughts are, how serious he is about you? You need to end it, but do it decently and with love. Be forewarned, once you do end it he will also test you to see how serious you are in staying out of one another's lives. Then it becomes whether you are strong enough to stick by your word, and do what you say you're going to. It really is a no win situation for you. You'll only win when HE allows you to win, that's a promise.
