See, I feel this Scorp likes you but you need to be loyal and faithful. Not just to him or your relationship, but as a person. The way things are, he may not trust you. You need to work on that. You left your current relationship to prove your loyalty to this Scorp bloke you've known for ten years, loosely as friends by your inverted commas, who you've had a few flings with (assumed fucked) already.
How does this action 'prove' loyalty?
Loyalty to who/what?
Certainly not to yourself or your ex partner.
If you didn't want to be with your now ex partner then why not just break up rather than breaking up under some guise of loyalty to a potential new bloke or fuck buddy.
If you're meeting the Scorp then I first suggest you consider what you are looking for and what you're in a position to offer.
