No it's a different one but at least I learnt more about Taurus in preparation for the new one!
Not much to tell. It's been over 18 months. Met online via Plenty of Fish. He's moved in now and we will rent out his place once he's finished tidying it up. We have had three holidays together so far. A cheap one to Tenerife (Spanish Island in Europe) and more recently to the USA. Went to Boston, Martha's Vineyard (where Jaws was filmed - he's a huge fan), New Orleans, Washington DC, and New York. Also to some places around the UK with my 11 year old brother, my older sister. We have a Christmas trip around Europe lined up plus two weeks travelling around Cuba next year. He's brought up marriage and we have talked about that plus kids etc. Early days yet but maybe see what the next few years brings.
I don't experience this amazing pull that others have. I think we have a nice, solid relationship. We have fun, we have a lot in common and similar outlook etc. We don't often argue. Life is easy and enjoyable. We don't do drama. He's a top bloke and he's lucky to have me —click to expand

We weren't expecting a future or anything for that matter from each other..shared nothing but love. Relationship or any other label would have made it all complicated probably. No it's a different one but at least I learnt more about Taurus in preparation for the new one!

I used to wonder about the push and pull. I sometimes, even now, wonder if I'm missing out because there's no roller coaster ride of emotions, no real emotional upheaval or ups and downs, no screaming matches followed by mass make up sessions. The answer is no, I'm not missing out at all. I'm right here, in it, all present and correct. Just minus the bullshit. It's not as high octaine as one or two previous relationships but that high level isn't sustainable for the next forty years. Plus, I don't think all that drama does Scorps any good. It unsettled us or rather it's unsettling. Who wants to go through life not knowing whether they're coming or going and even who they're coming or going with—

Especially on a site like this and astrology in general where there's a big temptation to be self-conscious but sweep that under the rug of "self-discovery". You get two dimensional stories often, whereas the very little he shared of that one episode in his life (long since over by now) was 3D.
TLS is a very intelligent guy, he never lived in a vacuum for his references each day so he didn't have to worry about whether it looked good or bad, and it's entertaining to me that someone left something behind that could be dramatically dedicated to the Museum of Taurus-Scorp opposition.
Then you get the less dramatic stories like people in this thread making it work very well on this axis, might not pull in as much stuff to talk about but still good to know (for me, anyway) those stories exist too.
4 posts he wrote sometimes. Like I've actually made myself a cup of tea and opened my laptop on my bed and just read it for entertainment purposes. It's like watching the notebook or something. The feels. Oooooh the feels.

Nothing much really Agent. That guy was the last one I felt that sorta connection with. I met exciting people after that n made many more memories.. travelled a bit( I've been to New York as well btw) n moved. I'm not sure where I'm gonna settle but it's all new n good for now. Thanks for asking ?

I agree. It tests you more because I think the things you may face together are more real and worthy rather than just squabbling amongst yourselves over bullshit. Because there's no bullshit you can see things more clearly and don't have a 'drama haze' hanging over your head!

There's a high chance for us to reconnect. But I don't want that to happen. I know we don't have a path we could take or even name. I knew it had to end. But what we had was enough... enough for me to cherish the whole thing for life.

I met another Taurus (not my current one) few years ago and he wouldn't leave me alone in the start I remember! I wasn't into him so I was probably all rude and cold, we are still friends now and talk eveyday, but very platonic. He just found a way to get to me...
I love their strength most of all, they don't fall apart.

It was as unconditional as love can get ....It feels like freedom when you can just love n not expect anything out of it.It might be a little odd or hard to understand, but it was beautiful the way it was. Doesn't that make you so jealous as a scorp though? I couldn't handle a Venus in Gemini I don't think. I'd be so possessive and pissed off just knowing that he would be looking else where and also forming all these mental connections with multiple women. Not that they would cheat, but like I know some too and they are so all over the place with their affection and it just makes me shake my head. I felt more for the Sag than I did for him a lot of the time as I was reading.
Unfortunately, we cannot be everything for any one person and I feel like all people are meant to be shared with and loved by a community. That was a hard lesson to learn for me.
But I know what you mean by getting off on watching them impress and be around others. I get aroused watching girls talk to him and get all impressed how smart and undouchey he is. Wishing they could be with him. Very exciting feeling actually.
I'm in my 30s and have a decent circle of friends my age. A lot of them are good looking, funny, successful etc. If I have a gf, we're definitely going to be hanging out with them and their partners or wives - we vacation together, go kayaking, boating etc. As just one example that's huge for me, I have friends who push me to try new things I would never do on my own, which really adds a lot to any relationship I'm in - for my own growth, andadds on to my partner and her experience of different sides of me. If left to myself, I'd be the worst homebody...a major introvert and bookworm. In my teenage yrs and maybe into my early 20s though, I was so jealous that when I had a girl, I would disappear from friends entirely, never bring her around, etc. I was too afraid of her being attracted to one of them, too distrusting of them, etc.
When you are all hanging, and it gets comfortable with time, alcohol, etc., everyone will eventually be themselves. Your SO is going to experience or express, within that group, charm, humor, intellect, warmth, and yes, sometimes even mild flirtation, some form of chemistry or attraction. If I'm honest, I know I'm experiencing all those things myself. I used to do everything to avoid that. I've actually grown to appreciate the whole dynamic and not take it so seriously. Because really, if the chemistry is strong with your SO as it should be, its all about her or him any way. If I'm being charming or humorous, its ultimately just to indirectly impress, entertain, or turn her on. Not sure if that makes any sense and I'm rambling on here....

Mine didn't start off with just looking at each other like in TLS's case either. We knew each other for months before that. We were classmates but I thought he was just this uber cool last bencher dude(basically a loser?) with just good looks.We were just familiar with eachother's faces n general behaviors...but his bff had a crush on me..so I have been often discussed before in his group apparently ?. I never cared much for him until he actually talked to me lol. It started right from that first talk we had. He was a great guy. Very chivalrous, super smart, great with conversations n stuff. Then it was pure obsession, detailed online stalking and grilling everyone who knew him. We kept strangely crossing each others path as well. We only met by accident too. People I knew kept talking about him. None of these people knew each other but they knew him and he kept coming up in conversation.
We developed our friendship until we became best friends and then it was uncontrollable afterwards. Neither of us could stay away and the inevitable happened.

Mine didn't start off with just looking at each other like in TLS's case either. We knew each other for months before that. We were classmates but I thought he was just this uber cool last bencher dude(basically a loser?) with just good looks.We were just familiar with eachother's faces n general behaviors...but his bff had a crush on me..so I have been often discussed before in his group apparently ?. I never cared much for him until he actually talked to me lol. It started right from that first talk we had. He was a great guy. Very chivalrous, super smart, great with conversations n stuff. My view of him was never even rose tinted lol. It's not being head over heels in love...that sounds silly. It's a way above that.

Not much to tell. It's been over 18 months. Met online via Plenty of Fish. He's moved in now and we will rent out his place once he's finished tidying it up. We have had three holidays together so far. A cheap one to Tenerife (Spanish Island in Europe) and more recently to the USA. Went to Boston, Martha's Vineyard (where Jaws was filmed - he's a huge fan), New Orleans, Washington DC, and New York. Also to some places around the UK with my 11 year old brother, my older sister. We have a Christmas trip around Europe lined up plus two weeks travelling around Cuba next year. He's brought up marriage and we have talked about that plus kids etc. Early days yet but maybe see what the next few years brings.
I don't experience this amazing pull that others have. I think we have a nice, solid relationship. We have fun, we have a lot in common and similar outlook etc. We don't often argue. Life is easy and enjoyable. We don't do drama. He's a top bloke and he's lucky to have me —
