Many Tarot Tips

I am learning Tarot on my own; then taking a five week course. First day 7 May (1 1/2 hours) we will be studying Pentacles (material, work, business, trade, property, money, and other possessions), earth, Taurus, Virgo, Cappy (by zodiac order).

I ordered three different Tarot cards and was informed to start w/the Rider-Wait tarot card first since the pictures are very vivid. I've seen images in card that others did not see and vice-versa.

Since I am 57% Native American, I found some tarot cards such as these. Was told to use "special" cards just for myself and I think I will choose these.

I ordered oracle cards, too. Don't really like the romance ones because they are all positive; not that I am looking for negative oracle cards, but I found some pretty ones, too! These are bright in colors and I am going to study the "color" of the zodiac sign the card represents. Like fire: yellow (Aries, Leo, Saggy).

Since I myself am Piscean I have alabaster at home sitting on a coffee table. I have different angels in my office, and bought a blue tarot cloth w/matching bag to keep said cards in. I didn't want "purple" as that's the color of "royalty". I was told to sleep with the Tarot card under my pillow for three days to be "intimate" with the cards as they will help me dream of them. Later, whatever fav tarot I will be working on the most, I was told to keep those under my pillow each and every night. Was told not to disturb cards as they should be in a room of their own away from loud noises, etc. I can also keep tarot in a wooden box. I also ordered crystals and stones of which I will place inside bag. I ordered incenses, chakra bracelet, feather, sage, etc.

I will clean out the computer room and use that only for Tarot and will bring all my angels from work, clear stones, etc.

I had already bought about a month ago for protection, the black tourmaline bracelet and wear it each and every day. I was also told to run the Tarot across a lighted candle (be careful not to burn them); for cleansing after the reading.

Slowly but surely I will learn more and more as I want to read for free to my family and friends. Youtube will be next; in about six months or so.

Man! I didn't realize Tarot was so much in depth! I am very excited to receive my cards sometime this week. Yet another "tip" After I receive said Tarot, I am to get a vibe/feeling from the card. Oh! real quick! (I am Piscean I think allot):

The Fool. I remember a DXP member here said, "I kept getting the Fool and I feel stupid". Nope! The Fool card is zero (0) the FIRST card of Tarot representing you (my client) as zero is a new beginning. Just because its name is The Fool doesn't mean you are stupid, dumb, with a stamp printed on your forehead as such. I've decided to keep The Fool (if that comes up) on top to remind my client so I my refer back to it reminding the client, "This is you" with what the spread will continue to inform them (I don't know only Tarot will). Not that you are a fool, but it's telling you to be careful of your decisions (almost falling off a cliff) as the dog is warning you if you look at it; so your spiritual angels are telling you such, etc.

Back to the vibe feeling. I was also told to put all my ones (1) in a stack and spread them from left to right to familiarize myself to the meaning. I see "colors" the most like a painting (white clouds, yellows, the green grass, etc). I was told "red" is passion (hearts, roses, pomegranates, etc). Continue with #2, etc, etc, etc, etc. So when I see a white beard (The Emperor; he is older, a father/boss, someone with authority, and/or wisdom). *

I am so excited to learn that The Queen of Cups card is associated with Pisces, The Devil card is associated with Cappy, The King of Pentacles card is associated with Taurus, The Justice card is associated with Libra, The Moon is associated with Cancer, The Emperor card is associated with Aries, The Hierophant card is associated with Taurus, The Lovers card is associated with Gemini, The Strength card is associated with Leo, The Hermit card is associated with Virgo, The Death card is associated with Scorpio, The Sun card is associated with Sagittarius, and the Star card is associated with Aquarius. I also knew in my heart if my client is male and such a card comes in as a female, that is associated with him (Tarot has no gender as it once was before just like the color of their hair; back ago it was false and I'll want to learn how to associate with "true" hair color).

The World is very exciting to me as it has the four apostles representing: man, Scorpio, Taurus, and Leo. The four winds, the four seasons. I started to burn incense (four) and at first when I was having problems with a Cappy woman at work my four incense would burn "very slowly" as if it was thinking, sending my prayers to God, etc. Since then my four incense that I continue to burn is burning FAST as if God is fast at work with the woman. God knows I pray for peace each time I go to Mass on post (like today).

There are 22 major Arcana cards and 56 minor Arcana cards.

I have already cleaned the computer room and need to vacuum. I was told by Helen to continue putting salt in the corners of my home after I've cleaned that room and to put a small "Cross" with salt at the inside middle part of my front entrance door so if people walk in and out they will not bring their negativity in my home or leave it behind (I won't do Tarot in my home). Helen said to also buy a crock pot, add water, cinnamon, all spice, oranges, and apples and to bring it a boil, turn off and allow the aroma to linger the home as it will "cleanse" my home. I have a regular crock pot, but decided to buy a small one as well as all items except I need to find all spice, but I have lavender oil that I bought from Wally mart some time ago and will use that until I find/buy all spice.

Note: I had Frankincense incense and lit them (four) throughout my trials and tribulations at work (about a month ago; lit each and every day for about two weeks). My heart knew that this was one of the gifts given to our Lord Jesus Christ by the Magi (three kings) when he was born; so I knew in my heart Frankincense would help me and it has. The power of prayer!

*greens The Empress -- She is fertility (pregnancy), the WOMAN, loving mother of her children, I love to see her heart and her 12 stars on her crown (zodiac). The Magician -- yellow. I love to see the four on top of table representing Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces = Cup, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn = Pentacles, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius = Sword, and Aries, Leo, and Saggitarius = Wands. I love all the red on this card; as red is passion. I love the infinity symbol as this comes from God, he has all the tools needed in life as well as love (roses), tulips (white) indicates value of adaptability.

I was told to sleep with Tarot under my pillow. I did. As always I ask God (spiritual guide, angels, etc) to have me dream. I dreamt I was with a crowd of youngsters (college age), White and Asian Pacific. I was xeroxing documents and I heard "them" come in the house. I hid the large papers under clothes, hoping not to be noticed and I can take them with me after they left, etc. They were found. A young guy with black hair was asking who had taken said papers. Being Piscean I said with a straight face, "It wasn't me". I saw beautiful twin girls (Gemini - the Lovers) passing by after they answered the question, too. The guy didn't like the response from the Asian Pacific girl and he shot her (Death #13 card). I woke up thinking why I had such a dream. Yes! It is true. If you sleep with Tarot under your pillow visions will come to you. They did.

I received my Tarot cards, Chakra bracelet (wearing it as we speak), blue table cloth w/matching bag, white sage, sage, large/small alabaster bowl with small/large feather, etc.

One good thing to remember: Cut and/or Draw the cards with your left hand when you're doing a reading for yourself. Use the right when drawing for other people.
