it'll wreck you. Maybe that's it, need a more challenging workout. I've hit a plateau. Or since I've had 3 bubbies, the ceiling. LOL I'm realistic Blingy, and there is no need for me to work a cat walk. 🙂

You should try what Charles Atlas termed as "Dynamic Tension" exercise. That's where you exercise via working one muscle group against another. A good example would be curling an arm and making it harder for that arm to curl at the same time. Learn to do that all over your body, and you're in business. Basically, you move while making it hard to move at the same time. Also, not only does it build lean muscle, it increases your bodily awareness.

You could incorporate dynamic tension and turn regular Tai Chi into "Hard" Tai Chi.

"My head hurts Momma", 9:30 p.m. August 6th, she slipped into a coma the next morning.

Have u had any experiences of her spirit coming to visit? My mother came to me one night....plus sometimes I sense her presence.

I've dreamt of her twice. Her confused voice ringing in my head saying "Momma??" shortly after she passed away. I don't know what was shock, and what was real at that particular moment. When she passed lightening and thunder came, a great storm that lasted for 3 days. That to me was my God grieving with me. Weeping with me. The dreams I cling too. I look for her always in so many small ways. Call of a bird, a ladybug alighting on me ( her favorite crawler when she was wee )..an especially beautiful butterfly in motion. I try to hang onto that she wouldn't want me so awfully sad. She'd kick me in the butt over it. She's free in a way. Far more than I. Oh, how she loathed her shots, that she couldn't eat what she wanted. That she had to be careful in ways she never had too before. She just wanted to be the beautiful free spirit she always was. Getting coated in mud, screeching at her brother and whipping his ass, laughing her head off, bumping to her music and crushing on a boy in her class. She so loved horses and wolves, wanted to be a veterinarian and have a farm of her own. She was just as gleeful over a garage sale as her mother and was always hellbent on getting her own way, just like her mother. I admired her, after her first bout she was crowing "I not only kicked Deaths butt Mommy, I told him to go MAKE ME A SAMMICH!" THAT is my girl...my angel. One minute sewing something by hand, the next shooting lasers out her blue, blue eyes.
The hits just keep slamming, don't they? I was school shopping for my son and drifted over to look at young ladies bras and knickers..and about went to my knees. Just started sobbing right in the middle of the store, and f*** whoever was staring at me.

Hmmm, thanks TDA. That's what I like about Pilates too, your own body as resistance. No equipment crap to buy. 🙂

Oh, okay. I didn't know that Pilates already did that. You learn something new everyday.

I appreciate the suggestion, challenging myself in different ways is good. Work different areas. 🙂

*insensitive... I'm trippin'...been reading all day...brain is tired. so forgive me.

Nothing to forgive lady, I feel the love in your words. Thank you, and no. Nothing can sway or dislodge what the love and care we extend to our children. It's selfless and pure, nothing taints it. Sure we get angry or blow up from time to time, but that always flows.

I've done that for a few years, and this past winter I sub'ed it for home made noodles in meh creamy chicken and noodles....man I think it's as good,or better.YUMMY

I'm hungry 😢

Mmmmm that sounds good! You ever use it for white lasagna? Loads of garlic, chicken breast, alfredo sauce and fresh spinach. That is really good. Slap me with some garlic toast momma. 🙂

Me's back...I know I'm hoppin in and out of this convo, sorry, I'm trying to keep up 😄
But, back to this...women and gravity situation.

Don't ya just love gravity? Isn't Brazil the best place to go when a woman wants to defy it? If so, in a few more years, I'll be ready to go... 😄 Anyone know of a good doctor?

LOL Until that time a damned good bra works.

LOL!!!!!! I think we all read that book, didn't we? 😄 I need to get properly fitted for a brassiere. ( either that or actually be arsed to try one on in a fitting room? ). My usual problems, what I've dubbed "The Uni-Boober Effect" where the cups runneth over and meet in the middle...or the cups are too small, or I'm floating about in them like an issue of "Lost In Space."

Mmmmm omelette. I'll have morels, gruyere cheese and scallion please. And sourdough toast.

🙂 Gruh-yair. When young it's similar in flavor to Swiss, but as it ages it becomes an entirely different animal. I prefer it aged. It tends to overpower things if used generously. And I like cheeses with authority. You use less and it makes the mouth happy.

LOL I'd be miffed too, as I was when I was so excited presenting "Little House" to the girls and they all but yawned.

LMAO Missssss CELIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE "Don't do it Miss Celie!"

Hey, hey now. I take great pride in being a goofball! 😄

Mmmmmmhmmmm. Put cheese on anything it makes it better. This is dead simple, take your brie, and envelop it in Pepperidge Farm puff pastry ( yes, you read that. Puff pastry and filo is a pain in the ass to make, I'll cheat there and use it.. ) and bake it. Surround it with green and red apple slices, different colored grapes and whatever crackers you like.
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese Gromit! I could seriously make a meal out of Gouda, grapes, a nice French loaf and a glass of deep red wine. I need a bib..

(LMAO @ Gromit - love that damn cartoon) - but yes, been there, done that, wrote a petit novelette about it! J'adore les fromages! Any variance on that - one of my favorites is fresh or smoked salmon w/capers and red onions; delicate little crackers, fruit, gouda, brie, Irish white cheddar and a bottle of vino...a good time is had by all. So simple, but honestly, I can weep eating that because I am so happy!

Hehehehe I love Wallace & Gromit too USC. 😄 *sigh* Oh Irish cheese is FABULOUS! Every once in a while I'll treat myself to a wedge of it. I'm lactose intolerant so I'm more careful, but it's the food of the gods. I could kiss whoever first decided to press curd down and let it age.

Indeed LibraLuv *waggling brows*. Wouldn't it be awfully nice to just have a loaded basket, a beautiful day, sparkling waters and an intelligent handsome man there. Hog him up the whole day ( and evening ) and nothing else is interfering with this lovely image in my head...and I thank you.

Yes! That's it! Oooo I can picture that on a romantic little.....umm...Ahem..perdon' 🙂 *fixes clothes*

*straigtens Libraluv's collar * Sighhhhh...life is good sometimes!

@VB - Oy, I would not be happy if I were lactose intolerant; although, I don't like milk. If I have cereal, I use Soy milk. When I cook, I do use milk or cream (when I am making a decadent dish that just can not shine w/plain ole' milk 😉 ).

*rme* Now it works? Gah. I like soy and almond milk, when I cook with it ( le moo moo ) it's alright if not eaten in quantities. Yogurt is also okay. Raw milk and soft cheeses, ice creams..it's awful. Now I could take Lactaid or similar, but I'm a tick with pills so I just buy my bean milk for drinking and cereals.
