i had completely the same situaton. work, taurus, presents and food both attached, him whining about his gf.
in my case he was completely convinced i feel the same and that i lie that i don't see him that way. lmao.
after 10y he still brings me food sometimes. i gave up telling him to stop.

They were both single, but she was in a whole other league (she literally date NBA and NFL players) but he would not give up and harassed her after a while

Yeah it feels a little disrespectful. The food not so much. But getting gifts always makes me think the person is gonna expect something back in return.

I don’t know if she actually said “stop” but she made it very clear he doesn’t have a chance

The jacket, I told him it is incredibly sweet that he gave it to me, and that I wasnt serious about wanting him to buy one for me, however I took it.. And when he gets me food I eat it 🤷♀️ I will speak with him and tell him that either he stops or we come to some arrangement that I also buy food for him from time to time 😄 But no grand gestures!
What kinda food?
Pasta from the Italian restaurant near our office, chinese, some home made stuff. One time he came with breakfast also 😄

Yeah, he likes you. Pretty obvious really. If you want to end it you ma have to be pretty blunt. Tell him you are not interested or do not accept the food/gifts.

next time when he gives you food, say you gonna save it for later, next day you say that you shared it with your bf at home and how much he liked and stuff, the same with the jacket, say how much your bf liked you with the jacket and how much fun you have going out with Le BF using the jacked and yada yada, heck share photos of it.

Since he came at my workplace we became friends, I'm trying to be like his bro or something, however he's acting strange,buying me presents and FOOD?!?!
He has a girlfriend, I have my dude. Before the winter came I shared randomly with some friends(he was also there) that I need a new warm jacket asap, he said "Well go buy one" and I jokingly said "You buy me one!" (cuz our salary was faaar far away from coming) and he never said a thing. One week later he comes with a jacket and tells me "You told me to buy you jacket". I was like :O
After that I have a weekend shift and I'm starving, nothing's working around, it's just me and one other girl and he writes me through messenger "How's the weekend shift, I bet you're starving, go check the fridge, I left food for you on friday" I was like :O
Today he wrote me to check on me cuz i've been sick the last couple of days and he told me he has a present for me. I'm like :O
He treats his girlfriend kinda bad and tells me they've been together for 4 years and at this point he has no idea why they're together, he shares with me that he flirts around and he does not respect her. At the mean time I spam how bad is his behavior(and from time to time I share how happy I am with my dude 😄 ) . Keep in mind our convos are super cool, filled with listening to the other and after that criticizing the hell out of them, which I adore.
Where are these gestures coming from? I am not stupid, it looks like he likes me or something, but why is he acting not as trashy as he normally is and why is he doing these things while I show him I'm only friendly and I share with him stuff about me and my bf?
