We went out for a really nice dinner, had a great conversation....he is really a down to earth nice man...we couldn't stay out to late because he had to be up early this morning to teach his nephew how to ride a motorcycle.
The only mention of the accidental message that I sent to him was he said " please don't fire me". (As a lover) I said your not fired, I like you too much. He said I like you a lot too!"

Well OP, was his summary not correct? Has this man done anything to show its more than a hook up. I've read the last cpl of pages and haven't seen anything. It seems like if you come to dxp about someone it's already a lost cause but I really want a win for someone.

I know your actions from what you have mentioned in your posts. If your posts are inaccurate then by all means feel free to amend them.
Actually I don't think you are "doing" anything wrong. I think you are kidding yourself though as to the status of this. You've wrapped yourself in some romantic notions of soulmates, forever and that you have this unbelievable connection that the rest of us can only begin to imagine.
I realise you are in the first flurry of this so it's to be expected. But i think it would be wise to look at the reality of the situation. You are just beginning. You have a guy that is not intiating. And frankly, "we're taking it slow" is really because you are doing all the chasing and have no choice but to accept this pace.
This is where many women get caught. They start seeing what they want to see rather than having some grace to tread carefully both in word and deed. Cue thread: "the disappearing Taurus man".
