How Taurus Women Typically Handle Compliments
Taurus women often respond to compliments with gratitude and humility. They may feel flustered but appreciate genuine praise. Many prefer to acknowledge compliments gracefully rather than brush them off, embracing their natural confidence and poise without feeling overwhelmed.
You can either A.) Crack a joke to snake your way out it. This would avoid getting flustered and or embarrassment .
B.)Compliment them back. Say something nice, sweet and be generous. This would actually reverse the process and would make the initiator get flustered and or embarrassed.
C.) Play it cool, tone it down and completely change the subject. This one actually has unknown consequences (Positive/Negative).
...Or you could also thank them. Not too sure about this one. Doesn't seem Taurusy. ?

I say "thank you" and that's all that you need to do - unless you have admired something in their world and would like to compliment them back ...
I mean what else is there to say ? It is for everyone, not just Taurus women to understand - there was just another thread on here that was asking the same but not about Taurus ...
terrible with compliments lol trying to get better at accepting them without trying to quickly divert attention away from it lol I'm better at giving than receiving in most areas of my life tho. partly nature, partly nurture.

Their expectations and perception of me are way too high. They caught me on a well-dressed day. Have this person seen me in sweats? I'm shrinking. I feel as if I am being viewed under a microscope. Oh, I'm just a perfectionist and an over-achiever, this isn't confidence, just a fear of failing masked by insecurities. They showered me with a million compliments. Now, what am I going to say? Look at the floor? Look away? an embarrassed thank you? A polite nervous smile? I don't know.
Is this why Bulls are often misunderstood?

I feel like we're complimented a lot. The few other female Taurus friends that I have and my gay Taurus friend are all complimented more than any of my other friends, from what I've witnessed.And in that moment, it's not just one compliment- it's a waterfall of compliments:
"You always look so graceful!"
"There's just this elegance about you that's stunning."
"I wish I was as poised as you are."
"How do you always exude so much confidence??"
When the compliments are laid on thick in this way, I get very flustered and embarrassed 😆 How do y'all react?
Sagittarius, Gemini, Capricorn and Virgo gals gives the most honest and loving compliments 🙂 At least this has been my experience so far. They're such dolls!

Recenty I have been regarded as "the best" in one area in my life, by the people associated with me in that area of my life (at least 3 peers have told me this, at different times). Although I do work hard, I am nowhere near the best. I am decent, I do want to become The Greatest, like Ali put it, but I don't see it. I smile and thank them. Lots of work left to do.

I was simply curious because I noticed in my own life that Tauruses, while being grateful for the compliments, seem to be easily flustered, embarrassed, and/or taken aback by them. This kind of reaction is especially noticeable in comparison to my friends of other signs (namely, Gemini, Aries, Leo), who bask in the compliments and know how to be quick to return the favor.

hmmmm - well I know that when I was young(er)(much)(lol) that was the case and then also I felt that I got compliments when I didn't think I deserved them - like jumping out of bed and throwing something on to run to the store to buy coffee and someone saying how beautiful I looked - lol really - and I just jumped out of bed and you are saying this ? really ? - if you only knew I would think ... but now that I'm older I suppose that I just might be used to it - I see envious women at my work that start dressing like me, want to know where I get this or that and I'm nothing special I feel but I take care of myself and have a knack for dressing - but really ? whatever, I just say "thank you" now and move on ... I don't like the nosey feeling of that because it comes from a jealous and envious perspective.
Taurus women are confident - this becomes much more solid as they age - if they age well which they normally do. That confidence is what other women pick up on without understanding what that is - because they do not have it ... and that is something they can't buy. It's just something a lot of us were born with and you just get used to it.
There is no need to get flustered when someone pays you attention and or compliments you. Respect your boundaries.
It depends who is saying and how they are saying it. I unfortunately over analyze everything in life.
If it is from someone I've known for years and I trust them very much, I will smile and say thank you and hug them or w/e
If it is a guy I'm getting to know; I will either say "you're sweet", but feeling weird inside, or I'm questioning their intention of the compliment and wondering if they really meant it. Even if it is a guy I'm exclusively with, I'll sometimes have the bad habit of saying thank you but then say something negative about myself in a joking manner. Trying to change that.
I HATE compliments. Always have, and I get them on my eyes all of the time. It makes me feel weird.
I enjoy being complimented but that could be my Aries moon basking in the glow of all that attention. I think the most mature thing to do when complimented is to just thank the person for the compliment. That's all. Why overthink it and spoil everything? Just enjoy. Taurus loves pleasure, right ??
They are very critical about themselves, they are not the Leo woman type who likes to be loved and praised. I just do not understand how women so beautiful and sexy do not accept what they are. I would only make a compliment if it was a romantic date, otherwise I find it unnecessary and frustrating.
They seem to want to control people's instincts and 'intentions', which to me is absurd and beyond my comprehension.

I turn beet red my white ass can't shake either. Im a straight arrow when blushing, or flustered. Stupie cancer rising gives it away.
