When Taurus falls in love, it’s real, it’s not that fake shit that everyone thinks love is. Taurus love never ends even 10 15 20 years down the line, we will still think fondly of the people we once shared our love, life and good memories with. We become indebited to those souls of those who helped us grow in life. Those kind of things will last a lifetime with us as they should. Even if the other doesn’t care anymore, we will still care and want nothing but the best for them because that’s what love really is about. True love doesn’t desert you when things end it forever remains unlike the fake love people give which ends once you go your separate ways.

Yeah, I get it. That's why I still hold individuals from my past dear to me to a higher degree than most. However, why continue to love someone so deeply and throw it in the others face? Shouldn't there come a time when you just keep the fond memories and keep it moving?

I love my first love, and I still talk and connect with his family. However I am not throwing that shit in the faces of other partners that may come along.

To the OP's point, yes we can get over our ex's, but the person has to be awesome for us to completely move on, and sometimes it takes a long time for that to happen based on how long the bull was with said ex. In your case, your bull sounds kinda like a prick in bringing it up to your face like that, almost like a passive way of presenting that he's not that into you sadly. I'd dip if I were you, he sounds kinda immature, unless you want to prove to him that you're way better than his ex, which is going to take time and dedication on your part.

IME I'm still friends with my ex's, and only wish nothing but the best for them. I was at a birthday party for a Pisces ex earlier this year, and I saw her Aqua BF propose to her and all I felt for her was utter happiness. It was such a sweet night.

I also saw my Scorpio ex recently at my cousins birthday, and it was cool kicking it and catching up, but there was absolutely zero attraction on my end. It's just always good to maintain the peace, especially when they've had such a influence on the person you've become. If there's no bitterness, why hold negativity towards a person?

positives is I can respect his honesty. it take a lot to admit something like that to someone you are dating.

with that said now you have the status of his state of mind and that should show he is not ready for what you are offering him. I feel like for him to do those things with honesty and for you to accept that with some type of confusion you are setting yourself up to feel and always feel insecure.

They broke up in January. He never made any mention of her until August, in which I asked him questions about the breakup and he never revealed any details except - he was going to marry her and there were family issues and that she just wanted to be friends.

I outright asked him if he still had feelings for her and he said maybe. Then I said I couldn't deal with that, and if he wanted to be with her he should talk to her and work it out but I didn't want any part of it. So I left him alone... then he came back. When he came back he said I asked him about her again and he said they were just friends. But this all feels like funny business to me.

Someone mentioned that it sounds like he is chasing her... and I am starting to feel that he is.

He posted the song for her birthday a few days ago and posted another message a week ago. So twice that I know of, in 2 weeks. But it hasn't been direct, it more like trying to get her attention, however he is getting all my attention - but not in a good way.

1) you can ditch him because it isn't really fair to you to sit around and wonder what's going on in his head (you never will. every bull I know including myself will only let you know what we want you to know).

2) try to get him to snap out of it by showing him what he is missing in the here and now. From everything you've written it seems like he likes you and is trying, he's just stuck on 'what could have been' with his ex. 2 years us cute and all but I've had shoes longer.

I like him... a lot. I am in complete bliss when I am with him ... however I don't like having this woman lingering. I don't want her to give in and give him a chance and he jumps at the first opportunity and leaves me behind.

He was with her for 2 years and we have been together for 5 months

As a bull myself I tend to agree with some of the other bulls here for the most part.

They broke up in January. He never made any mention of her until August, in which I asked him questions about the breakup and he never revealed any details except - he was going to marry her and there were family issues and that she just wanted to be friends.

I outright asked him if he still had feelings for her and he said maybe. Then I said I couldn't deal with that, and if he wanted to be with her he should talk to her and work it out but I didn't want any part of it. So I left him alone... then he came back. When he came back he said I asked him about her again and he said they were just friends. But this all feels like funny business to me.

Someone mentioned that it sounds like he is chasing her... and I am starting to feel that he is.

I completely understand what you're saying.

Who's to say you dump him and find a guy you like just as well and he cheats on you out of the blue - blindsided? Every relationship is a gamble to some extent, you never know what lies around the corner. At least with him you know what you're working with and the possible weak spots. It sounds like she's closed that door so hopefully if he has any dignity he'll stop knocking.

Mine has said that to me as well. He doesn't like to hear of anything ending. Not only was I lectured about this in person, I also got a long lengthy text message. I have also had an ex Taurus say the same, however I just say hi to him if I ever encounter him. He also gets touchy feely about me disappearing from his life. But I have set up boundaries with that one.

Dating a Taurus man and the relationship is good. However he still thinks about his ex, who he was considering marrying.

It was her birthday a few days ago and he post a song that they both listened to... and he said it was out of appreciation for her and her birthday. He said it was nothing and that she is a sweet girl that the relationship didn’t work out. They broke up in January! I don’t like playing second to anything. But I feel that he will never get over her, even though he is with me. It’s a fucked up feeling.

I understand what you are saying... but my thing is this.

Don't get into a relationship if you are not ready, and don't bring the past into your current relationship.

I don't snoop, we follow each other on social media so his stuff pops up in my timeline. If I was to stop 'snooping' I would have to unfollow him. He is a creature of habit, so when he does something unusual it stands out and it sparks my curiosity.

I only think of her when he reminds me she exist. Other than that I am usually occupying my time working and cooking meals I find on pinterest.

And to continue with my defensiveness 🙂

When I asked him if he still had feelings for her, it was when he brought her up and started discussing their relationship. I don't want to be with someone who wants to be with someone else. Things like this I need to be certain of before I continue.

I second what sagittarius xo is saying. My bull completely ghosted all his exes that he was 100% over with.

From my own personal experience as a Taurus female. I only still put out feelers when the door is still open and I still have lingering emotions or feelings for them. Once I'm done the door is sealed and sometimes when someone mentions them I say "who?"

positives is I can respect his honesty. it take a lot to admit something like that to someone you are dating.

with that said now you have the status of his state of mind and that should show he is not ready for what you are offering him. I feel like for him to do those things with honesty and for you to accept that with some type of confusion you are setting yourself up to feel and always feel insecure.

I wouldn't be happy in a relationship like that the way I want and deserve.

I personally would respectfully let him go and tell him to call you when he is ready for better things.

yup. Taurus definitely do withhold information, or as they see it don't say things when they aren't ready to say it or don't think its important.

I definitely think you should listen to your moods and scenes.

if you just are the type of happy and secure you want to be in this relationship its probably not t he right one, or the right time. BUT...... as a sag, I recommend ending it on the best terms possible. with compassion and understanding as well as dignity so that if and when he is ready, and if in fact you are still open that this can come back around without any "damage" to hold onto.
