I am talking to a Taurus but he seems more difficult than i expected. He pulls the famous bull's "disappearing act" but he doesnt pick up any of the big hints i leave him or even when i actually SAy it. I know his Venus is in Gemini, and what i read matches up but still doesnt make much sense to me. Could anyone help me out?
These people are hard to pin down..

You have to let them really chase you HARD to determine if they actually want you in the long run or not....

Find out his nature and study him before you get intimate. Emotional honest and let him know that you have felt the "flirty, flighty behaviour" and he will understand because so many people would have told him that before. Just so that he is aware that you are also aware of this behaviour...

Yes! i have told him and he does try to talk more and not leave me haning as much as he used to - only becuase i've mentioned it so much lol. However i appreciate the effort. He also has Virgo in moon, do you think his sun and moon placements help calm down his venus?

Where are you getting this 'famous disappearing act of Taurus from?"

I just googled Famous Disappearing Act of Taurus and not one astrologer confirms this assumption.

I see dxpnet writers, but nothing from blogs, articles, astrology pages. Didn't you already post about this guy earlier under another user? What are you not understanding? O the Venus in Gemini I see.

Hey! I found out today I have Venus in Gemini and yes, I may hard to "pin down" or take off the market, but that is because I don't want to settle for less. I've only been in long term relationships. Never cheated on them or even thought about it!
I am just as bad but I have a Venus in Pisces which is still mutable.. But the only problem with this element is that they put their partners on a pedestal and when the "glitter" starts to come away and they truly see the person is not like the "version" in their heads, they swim away without fixing anything.... GONE.

Whereas a VIG will try many times to make it work...

Ah I see. Yeah I only walk away when too much damage has been done or toxicity. Hard for me to stick around something that negative.

Yes.. But I can't stand Virgo placements. the moon in Virgo will be more critical, analytic, perfectionist etc. Than a sun Virgo. Because the moon rules the emotions...

My Taurus has a sag moon and I have leo so at least it is in the same element of fire. But my ex aqua hubby had a Virgo moon and it was hell.

My cancer friend has a Virgo moon and she can be as crabby and miserable as hell as her Virgo moon does not help matters.

My mother is also a Virgo and my Taurus mother is also a Virgo... Nuff said lol lol

Good luck pleasing his moon... Taurus is picnikerty as it is!

What is your experience with Taurus men disappearing? I googled it and didn't find anything but do you know Taurus men who are known for their "famous disappearing act?" I really don't know.

Okay OP, my Pisces Mars feels sorry for you. So I found this article.

Comments for Dating a Taurus who is hot and cold

Hot and Cold

by: Aphrodite Bull

His reaction is a typical Taurus reaction when there is uncertainty. Ms Leo, you gave off two red flags!

1st red flag: "Everything was going good and I had to back out due to my ex."

2nd red flag: Communicating personal feelings via text.

When pursuing a Taurus, Please leave your past behind. We hate to regress. We will defintely leave our exes behind. No pics, no love letters, no memoralia. Why? Because with a Taurus, it's all or nothing! You and I, me and you, no one else matters! We're not the sharing type, and we certainly don't want to share your heart with an ex. We want all of you...not a part of you. We will continue to be hesitant until you're 100% sure you want to be with us.

Expressing yourself via text to us is insincere and quite cowardly. No pun intended. But we're very old-fashioned. Anyone can express their feelings via text, but not everyone can express their feelings in person.

If you want to ger closer to your Taurus, don't tell him, show him.

1. Call him, leave a message. No more texting.

2. Cut ties with your exes.

3. Offer to cook him dinner (enough with the bike riding convos, you clearly don't want to be in the friendship zone).

4. Be real affectionate with him, tell him how you feel about him in person. Reassure him.

5. Respect his decision for taking it slow.

Good Luck!

Don't underestimate Taurus. He probably knows how you feel. Is he shy? If he's a bit shy and up in himself he might be hesitant. Taurus is a feminine (I'm not saying that being feminine is being passive -- just using the traditional terminology, Taurus is kinda passive 🙂) sign associated with the Moon. Lots of Taurus guys can take what they want if they have fire signs to make up the difference, but if they don't, they can be passive and anxious (even if they really want to see you more).
