Boardwalk Empire

HBOs next great series! I love it. While True Blood was entertaining enough to pass time on a Sunday night, I was waiting for another truly captivating show for all the *right* reasons from HBO...much like The Wire, and I think this is it!

I gotta say, I was a little disappointed in the season finale.

I disagree about Buscemi/MacDonald bringing the show down. The paradoxes their relationship represents is central to the overall theme of the show.


I love Enoch Thompsons character.


I wasn't at all surprised by Eli turning on his brother. They made his jealousy and resentment all too clear from the beginning. And it was the maid who poisoned him, no? She admitted it. You think she was put up to it by Jimmy's mother? hmm.

Actually, the relationship between Jimmy and his wife is growing aggravating to me for some reason. Everytime a scene of them in that dreary awful apartment comes on, I get annoyed lol

Hmmm Idk. You might be reading too much into it. We shall soon see!
