made a similar thread to this in the past but do men (more often than women) tend to settle at the moment with someone they don't even find attractive? coz i feel like a woman might or might not try to level up with another dude but to actually even BEGIN to get with someone you dislike as a principle just nah i can't see that.
like there's this dude who'd always believe in 'curbing single moms' like they're low level women to him BUT still ends up with one with like a 5-yr old kid or whatever. srsly sometimes i feel like people's motivation is just someone to do housekeeping. and this dude is even openly hostile to her like wtf (also claims she's fat and never posts pics on his fb or social media in general with her). she basically needs to be the one to approach him and 'woe' him in all arguments coz dude is way too proud too.

I used to wonder this and then realized I was going for women out of my league. Now that I'm not focused on looks as much as I am attraction and personality I just let it go.

If it really matters much (which it should) I think it's probably best to settle with the unattractives. Attractive people nitpick on and about everything and make small simple minor detail a top priority. Attractive people find faults at everything and will nag you to death. Some nags but not all. Attractive people might be one of those types you wanna tempt (goes for both men and women) but it's just something you might wanna think about before wanting to be with attractive people and do your research first.

I would not think of a lack of attraction, unless we are talking about a decades long relationship in which one partner let themselves go at some point.
In my family, my father was considered far more attractive than my mother, yet she was the abuser! In fact, much of the abuse was trigger by the attention he got from other women, even when he was not deliberately seeking it or encouraging it.

My dad married a woman who was kind, loyal, and in love with him, despite not being into her at all (he told me), because he was a single dad and didn’t know how to raise 3 small kids on his own at the time. It’s ulterior motives, whatever benefit they can get from it and at whatever cost. Maybe this made sense at the time, when he’s young and scared, so he justified it. But he used to tear her down regularly about her appearance and her weight. I remember she’d have potlucks at work and he would call her at work to make sure she wasn’t eating too much at the potluck. He really hurt her, she was a good lady.

I am Earth Dom and have posted pics of myself with larger women and women who you say are out of my league, but I am not the person you are describing.
I think there is a problem in general with Earth signs and that is when they love they love hard, yes they take their time usually, but it's very hard for them to get back out of if it's not going well, this is very common on both sides of the gender fence.
As a Water sign I move on fast if it's truly not savable, this is likely due to my personal Earth planets aspecting Uranus though.

So the trashy ex cheated on him. I was trying to get to the bottom of why fat women are so appealing so I asked him if they have more stamina in cowgirl position. He said yes, she could go for hours, and it's because fat people have big abs under all that fat.

Also I just want to save grace for a second and admit the actual reason I don't date anymore is because I'm at absolute rock bottom of my own personal mental state, and don't want to bring other humans into my personal turmoil. I don't believe any human should have to feel the need to "fix" my problems. My mental state is at an all time low, yet I can just continue to function and survive because I'm resilient, and good at pretending. I can just write it out out here because this is all just text, and not actual life right?
Though there is an Aquarius woman I really like that asks me if I'm feeling ok every now and then. Yet as much as I deeply want to write back and express every single thing I'm feeling, I simply write little to nothing, because I refuse to lie, yet there is truly no good news. She doesn't need to know the reality of how I truly feel. Last thing I want to be is the bad vibe, or darkness in her life.
