Degrees take anywhere from 4 to 8 years. You can pick up as many as you like.
So it's not like that. I'm taking an MBA which is generally 2 years. I already have my 4 year degree. The specific music school is 20 weeks. I could take both at the same time but I would have no life. The wise idea is to stick it out till February then go to music school and come back to business later.
Yes u cal always go back to mba if not happy
The obvious answer is to do what makes you unhappy
No, don't follow your passion. You should stick to what will guarantee you a steady income so you can be mindless and miserable working a job that doesn't fulfil you. I believe that is the key to a happy life
haha I like you comment. omg
I don't know when but I am pursing the music thing contingent of it getting paid for by this organization. If they offer to pay then I will go whether that's before or after February. Thanks for the input everyone.
Nothing kills your passion faster than monetizing it. But not many people will tell you that.
How many audio engineer jobs are available? It sounds (no pun intended) like a difficult field to get into.
There are many jobs available I know a lot of them etc. The school gives me an opportunity to be an exec as well.

Great point @LadyNeptune
I have my science job that pays the bills, and I have my other stuff that keeps the passion burning hot. 🔥
My route will probably be similar thank you for your input.
The only thing that matters is making sure you pursue something you are good at, and grind at it hard in your 20s. That way you are comfortable at 30. Or grind at 30 to be comfortable at 40, or 40 to 50. It's never too late imo. Just make sure you are getting good at something. I'll never be the one to say throw your dreams aside, but make sure you always have options. Specifically options you are good at, and actually enjoy somewhat.

I am currently working on an MBA online. I do not prefer online school as I am a traditionalist when it comes to school. But at any rate I wanna go to Music School instead because it's my passion and I know I can at least be an Audio Engineer at the least and still make really good money maybe less than with my MBA but close to it starting out. Further I feel like quitting and jumping into the music school but I know quitting isn't smart. My semester will be over early next year and they will allow me to pause my Business School with no penalty if I wait but I don't want to.
I think I know what the responses will be but I want hear them.
