Our country barley got out of communism during those times - and the dress codes were really strict. Even painted nails were against school policy - and same goes for hair. I should know better... cause i got the idea to dye my hair - back when i was 13. ^^ Not just around, but even around the neighborhood - i was perceived as a weirdo. 🙂 Though, the girls from my generations liked it - cause they've seen guys with died hair in the BRAVO magazine. Yet, same can't be said about the teachers... My parents were called to school again - to revise my behaviour. ^^ The deed was done, so i managed to convince them to let me keep it - till my hair grows to the point where i can cut if off - so i wouldn't shave my head. Most teachers got used to my new color - except for the French teacher - who couldn't stand me cause of that and made it clear - in her own way... ^^

But... but... i don't want a rebel child (like i used to be). :S I want a girl that's a bit like RumiL (her personality from DXP): obedient and respectful around the house, a mental creature - with spiritual and intellectual interests, preferably one that's really shy when it comes to boys (even a prude)! ^^ She can have a relationship when she's more mature - in her 30's or so... after she learned everything there is to know about relationships. And ofc - even then... I'll have to do a background check on her potential partner (just making sure - he's truly a nice guy)! I guess, i would be this kind of dad:
Hopefully they'll be able to manipulate DNA - so i can chose my type of child. 😄

Also practical as hell so I get what you're saying. It'd be way easier to shave all mine off and start over than it would be to try to live with it while it grows into something resembling a hairstyle.
I see... 😱 I mean, i probbaly can't see - because people with Neptune in 1'st House - are like a mirage from afar... 🙂 Well, that's more apparent in the real world - where your persona might come-off as confusing for some people. You've probbaly dealt with such situations - where people got the wrong idea of you, where - they saw you in a different light - till they met you up-close. Mutable signs might be able to adapt - while fixed signs can have a hard time with people - they can't see so clearly. Though, even more than that (the way you're perceived by others - cause there's plenty of people who see other unclearly - while being influenced by Neptune themselves, Venus Trine Neptune - for example), this aspect - can confuse you as well (depending - on how close it's to ASC). Might confuse the person in the mirror, kinda - like this song:
Shave it - then! I dare you! 😄 Then again... daring works best - when it comes to fire signs. ^^
You could always wear a wig - till it grows back. ^^

Oh I changed alot since I was a teen. Glad I experienced it myself. Taught myself alot too, as well as my strict discipline parents. Yikes. Oh is location or the type of schooling important to you and would you pick a private school instead of public school system, or what about would you live in the country with far spaced out neighbors and less violent. Or stay in the city to raise the kiddos. My family packed up very young age away from city to desert and was raised from less pollution, less violence, so what do you think?

Right now... i'm sort of melting. :S We have all the 4 season here. Around Winter time is cold - or very cold... spring is just perfect... summer is hot or very hot... autumn - is pretty decent - but more rainy than usual and less sunshine.

Have you changed your style since you started getting older? Like if you were punk rock type in high school are you still? Gothic attire? Baggy clothes? Did you parents tell you what and how to dress to?

My hair.. crosses my midback 😕 ..(naturally pin straight hair) .
I mostly wear it in ponytail. Sometimes a braid.
I let it down the day I wash it(pull tufts of hair from either side back[sometimes I braid those small tufts] and put a butterfly clip pulling them behind) .. Sometimes just bobby pins to the sides. Sometimes I put a butterfly clip to the side :p ..depends on mood. Hard to describe the simple hair style s!
My style is simple :p lol.. Its not even a style lol. And no my style has always been the same. Since I can remember 😕
I mostly wear skirts..jeans..our traditional dresses How should I describe 😄 lol!

@RumiL Haha it's all over this post of many changes I have endured since teenager hood. Gothic, to rebel, to tomboy, to pretty pretty princess, to I'm getting old and old fashioned conservative.... Comfort measures nowadays..
Yeah I changed too but now I just wear scrubs or pj's, ans my hair up in a pony tail. Haha so comfortable. Idc..lol..

No i had no choice my parents had certain rules and regulations. Haha. So normal jeans, long shirts with sleeves. And tennis shoes.
Now well I spiff it up to latest fad. But I'm not that gun ho . I settle for nice jeans and tank top all day every day.
I love dark brown, khaki, and tan. Pastel colors. Anything that looks great on me. Hahaha. Not too picky but I have my own style . Lots of eccentric colors and style .. weird prints, chevron., ombre, animal print, regular tank with cute designs or logos. Casual t day. I match my skin tone you know colors of season to my attire. Can manage to wear anything and rock it.

The Conjuring 1 was better, The Conjuring 2 best scare jumping scenes....
I am currently watching zootopia and earlier Finding Dory. Haha other great movies. I want to see The Shallows next. Hahaha and did you watch anything else? Oh binge watched season 4 of OITNB. Lol.

I have natural curly hair and I usually wear it up at work.
There's this shampoo - for horses that seems to do miracle for some people:
And no, this is not a joke. 🙂 As the story goes, some horse owners - were really surprise to see how well it worked on the mane of their horse - and decided to try it on their own hair as well. And it turn-up to be an inspired decision - cause it had the same effect (faster hair growth, more volume and healthier looking). One of them was probbaly a Gemini, cause it shared this discovery with others - and from there on - more and more people try it and praised it for its efficiency. If you check YouTube by typing "Mane 'N Tail" in the search bar - you'll find tons of reviews where it's praised for same thing.
There's even "after months/years of using this product" type of reviews. So, it's not like in a commercials - where they probably selected a model whom happen to have great hair - even prior to trying their product (+the CGI effects added).
Though, it doesn't seem to have the same results on everybody. Different individuals, different hair types - so i suppose there's some who have an incompatible hair type (of something like that). There's no research - to see why it doesn't work that minority - but it seems to work for many people. So, hey - you could try it and hopefully you're one of the lucky ones. You're a Taurus too - and bulls are not that far from Horses. ^^

You're severely misinformed if you think hair products help hair grow faster. They don't. Just like they don't "fix" split ends.
Not knocking this product per se. The brand itself is good stuff. But don't believe it helps hair grow faster.
One downfall is people washing their hair too much, too many "heat" tools (curling, flat iron, etc), and not trimming regularly.

Mane and tails is nice on horses. People eh, I liked it but it's commercial shampoo that's cheap at walmart. You get what you pay for. My aunt uses it though. Lol so it varies. I just felt like there wasn't enough oomph lather wise. This was years ago it's probably just me.And yes. I used that shampoo on a horse. Made no fuckin difference to its thick ass tail though.
I like any hair type really but for me long. It's down to my butt. I'm past a trim I just need to do it on a good lunar cycle. Some women can truly pull the short hair look.
I love their detangler. That stuff is good shit.
As far as the shampoo, I haven't bothered. I'd actually been using Bath and Body Works cherry blossom moisturizing shampoo for ages before they discontinued it. I'd gotten it for the hell of it at one of their semi annual sales and found it was pretty damned impressive stuff.
I went through some others, mostly focused on moisturizing shampoos and conditioners since I dye my hair. They either clogged the hair follicles or they just didn't wash out very well and left residue.
Then I came across Suave's "Professionals" line.
Holy jebus I loved it. I've been using it ever since. Moisturizes well, doesn't cause scalp break outs, washes out well, smells nice, etc. This, paired with a clarifying shampoo once in awhile, and my hair is happy.
I've talked to several stylists about shampoos and what works, and overall, it's a craps shoot. It doesn't always have to be the most expensive hair products out there, either. People find things that work for them and may not work for others. With so much bs floating around about hair products, all you can do is arm yourself with some basics and do some trial and error after that.

Yeah I believe my hair and what I have done to it over the years of dying, bleaching, re dying over and over each season, Brazilian blow outs, hair drying, and wearing pony tails for years of my profession.
It has got up to me in ages. I had a mid crisis and nothing was helping. Chopped it off to my shoulder to start a new. I have 4 different shampoo and conditioners and nothing was taking away my split ends or damage Pony tail bands indented into my hair. My natural curly hair seemed to not be as curly before. I lost my hair dying and bleaching my hair over. I cri3d when it fallout for dying it platinum blonde. Never again. Had to re dye back to my natural color. So kept it like so for years now.
I have the Japanese cherry blossom spray I use it all the time for work. That is my work spray scent.

Which reminds me... In Hindu religion there's a religious rite - where people (both male and female) - can donate their hair to a temple. Which is suppose to be a gesture of humility - a sacrifice of ones beauty (as if you're surrendering your ego - to some extent). It's a bit similar to the fasting - from western religions, where one would abstain himself from certain type of foods. Though, it's less meaningful this days (doesn't have the same impact) - cause there's all kind of recipes - which make even the foods that you're allowed to eat enjoyable (that kinda beats the purpose - as if they're cheating... ^^ ).
Anyway, that Hindu religious rite - took a weird turn (somehow immoral) - with the rising of hair fashion. I mean, those people are giving up their hair - as a way to cleanse their soul, while others exploit that practice for profit - by selling into the beauty industry (which is a ego thing) - to people who want to boost/enhance their ego...
Weird world we live in...

Hm yes stress too causes my hair to fall out and doing lots of style s too it over the years. I started probably at 22 years old with my hair acts... I'm a brunette naturally. Right now I have natural with blonde ombre tips. I'm done with all of it. I Keep it simple now.
@neves and @RumiL I went to a beauty college to have a cheaper hair do. Went platinum blonde instead of what I actually wanted, which was a medium ash blonde only. But since I dye my hair constantly different colors over the years with box hair dye it wasn't good.
So I was a blonde for awhile didn't match my complex. So going cheap can do some damage because students were just learning. I had to fix it again I had to wait along giggles time to do anything to it, they used bleach in the process.. And again to what I wanted.
Well my above disaster of a cheap hair cut and dye cost me 40 bucks but was damaged ..some years after.
I went to a beauty shop. A Paul Mitchell shop and I wanted my old natural self with some blonde streaks. Well that was 140 to do. They didn't want to do anything to my hair once I told them what had happened, liability issues to them. I said okay I have to fix it though and what happened was since more chemicals they used to take out all blonde and bring back my natural color..
It fall out once I got home I started brushing it and it fall out alot. I cried. That's the only time I cried for. I cried couldn't do jack shit but brush all my hair out. It Was damaged again. So man stories of just my hair. Haha.

So bad.. I can imagine how you must've felt. 😢( these hair colours and all can be very damaging.. Many of my friends had hair loss, thinning, and all due to coloring.. No matter how good a hair coloring product is said to be in quality, I doubt is healthy.
My grandma lectures us always how we should even dilute the shampoo we use lol. I do that.
FDTW, did you consider going to a doctor or something after that?? What did you do?

Well my above disaster of a cheap hair cut and dye cost me 40 bucks but was damaged ..some years after.I went to a beauty shop. A Paul Mitchell shop and I wanted my old natural self with some blonde streaks. Well that was 140 to do. They didn't want to do anything to my hair once I told them what had happened, liability issues to them. I said okay I have to fix it though and what happened was since more chemicals they used to take out all blonde and bring back my natural color..
It fall out once I got home I started brushing it and it fall out alot. I cried. That's the only time I cried for. I cried couldn't do jack shit but brush all my hair out. It Was damaged again. So man stories of just my hair. Haha.

So bad.. I can imagine how you must've felt. 😢( these hair colours and all can be very damaging.. Many of my friends had hair loss, thinning, and all due to coloring.. No matter how good a hair coloring product is said to be in quality, I doubt is healthy.
My grandma lectures us always how we should even dilute the shampoo we use lol. I do that.
FDTW, did you consider going to a doctor or something after that?? What did you do?

Well some one on here so far suggested organic coconut oil, or mane and tail. I am going to buy coconut oil first. I need help I was trying to be expressive, unique, different, and because of that my hair fell out and is thinning. But it's time to not be so experimental on my hair. Lol and had a mid life crisis and chopped it off. To my shoulders haha so much for having hair down to my ass. Just not the type of hair anymore.

Hi hun. I am hurting again and My back is flaring again.Sigh and maybe time for the doctors I suppose.
I'm going to ask have you ever did anything to your hair, or body that is expressive or spontaneous moments? Haha..for example hair dyes or cuts, or tattoo, or piercings?
I've had short hair for years. Was blessed with my Gramps and Dad's opinions that women with short hair simply rock it. Face forward, neck exposed. In short I've never associated femininity with long hair. Your essence is within and shines outward. Everyone grows long hair if they leave it be. I admire long hair on those that sport it. Admire edgy cuts on those that like it that way.

Hmm yes coconut oil is good.. Even olive oil, almond oil, mustard oil... These are good for hair growth. You can mix them and use (:

I'm reminded of a story I read somewhere.
A woman has 3 hair stands on her head. So she is sooo happy, "Oh today I can braid my hair!"
Next day she wakes up to find only 2 hair on her head ..she's even more happy "I can let down my hair today! "
The next day she wakes up with just one hair strand , she's again happy, "Today I can try a ponytail!"
The next day she has no hair on her head and then she's again happy! "ahhh I can feel so much air on my head and no need to brush it anymore!"
It was a story about optimism 😄 hope the story atleast made you smile :p .. Dont feel bad okay...its just hair. 🙂 ..it'll grow 🙂

Coming to me...noo nothing 😄 .. And I'll never do anything 😱 I blow dried my hair just once in my life...and the hair dresser does it (blow drying) whenever I go to salon. Then also I tell her not to do it so much... If I had it my way, I wouldn't let her do even that 😡
I just have my ears pierced. They were pierced when I was 2-3 years old 🙂

And how will you clean up the floor :O ..it will be difficult to clean a greasy floor!

You are beautiful (: ..so are your grandpa and dad! My dad says I should cut my hair too..but generally not many are supportive like that. 🙂

Why snail though? Why not a wooden block? I pretend I'm a piece of log on my bed. It's great. 🙂 ..nothing gets dirty, I stay warm, I can pretend my body is dead (:

Nothing wrong with that. I do enjoy doing things alone or usually ask my brother to go with me, or someone else who enjoys the latter to. Not to much pressure. I do have one grey hair btw haha. All this working and no play I suppose. Lol. When I was in school I dressed like a rebel. I had baggy shirts and jeans, with the long 8 ball chain and wallet, and my nice kicks for awhile. I then transfer my appearance to wearing and drawing my eyebrows in, lipliner and eyeshadow that matched everything I would wear. And MY bangs flipped over . Like a peacock heavy Chica makeup but with nice jeans and shirt and still nice shoes. What a phase I went through.
