QB, yes, you answered my question. Thanks. I don't feel rejected by my VGuy friend because I know what I am getting into with him. He has shown interest but there are too many variables. Sex can make a relationship and it can make it worse. He's a great guy but he has lots of problems.

I didn't bash my friend, I just said he has some problems. We all have problems but he deals with his by consuming copious amounts of alcohol. That's not bashing, it's real. He told himself he's an alcoholic. I don't love him any less, I am attracted to him but he can get a bit scary. Besides, somewhere down the road we plan on collaborating musically, I don't want anything interfering with that.

My Vguy friends is truly one of the coolest, most intelligent people I know. He's deaf in one ear and despite it all has embarked on a musical career on the side. To me, that's admirable. I want people like him in my life to remind me that no matter, you still can accomplish your goals with patience and perserverance. Now, that's being a REAL MAN. Pressing on and through despite a real handicap, no whining, no complaining just doing. For over a year I had no idea he deaf in one ear until someone told me. So, no more "off with his head" business.
