Curious about a co-worker

Hello everyone! Any thoughts would be appreciated. Ok so I started a new job about a month ago. From the first day this girl has been giving me intense eye contact. I have noticed her staring at me from across the room and even across the parking lot. She never speaks though. She works in a different department but always comes to where I am and talks to different people. Her looks aren't mean she seems to have a smirk on her face. I know she's a Virgo because we have many mutual friends on FB. Idk if she wants to be my friend, attracted to me or just trying to figure me out. I'm also a girl btw. Usually I wouldn't even think about it but the eye contact is intense like we literally just stare at each other everyday or I'll look up and she'll be looking right at me not just in my direction. Thanks in advance!!

She's analyzing if you're friend or foe. Have you tried greeting her?

Yes once in passing. She just said hi! I just find it a little weird to stare at someone you don't know. While working she always moves so that we are in each other's line of sight.

Yeah so today while I was talking to another co-worker I saw her out the corner of my eye walking towards us fastly lol. I didn't look at her I just walked away. Now she probably thinks I don't like her. The whole back and forth is just weird to me. I guess we will just keep staring at each other. LOL

She waits till you leave your desk and then collects your hair for her voodoo doll. Or it's true love.

You probably hold some potential of being a good friend to her and she's analyzing what you do to see if you're worth it.

I do that sometimes, but it's not as creepy as the whole "staring even once you've caught me staring" thing.

Sometimes I see someone and I'm like "wow they would be really good friend material". So I see for myself if you really are

Ha! I thought I was the only one who did this. Nice to know I'm not alone 😄

Normally, I'll observe to see if you're good relationship material, but I noticed I'll observe to see if we can become good friends. The deciding factor is if you gossip or not. If upon first encounter you speak negatively about another person then I know to keep my personal matters private.

Well maybe that's what it is. Myself personally don't stare at people and have long eye contact with them before becoming friendly.
