I said before in past threads on here that I wasn't a Gem fan, as the ones I've met in the past seemed way too two-faced. But now that I work with one (a guy) and I've gotten to see the playa-playa vs. the REAL him (shy guy), I feel like I GET it now. Fake it til you make it and all that. And he's hilarious (haven't met a Gem that wasn't). We had a fight recently, and he seriously had no clue he had done something to upset me. I was straight-forward with him, he looked soooo hurt that he had hurt me, and he wanted to talk about it (BONUS points with a Virgo, because we ALWAYS want to talk about it, lol) and we ironed it out. I told him I understood that he was caught up in a moment and didn't realize what he said could be taken the wrong way, and have since made a mental note to approach him quietly if something feels uncomfortable to me, rather than wait until I'm hopping mad (he just kept doing it over and over and over, which was what made me angry--but how was he to know? I waited until it reached my boiling point to speak up).
It's def. a sign I need to learn more about, and I can admit that.
I was also distracted by a new expansion pack by my fav. game of all time, The Sims.

I did learn that, Gem--and I admitted to him that I was wrong in not coming to him in the first place to say, "you said this, and I didn't like it". He said I should just be direct with him, tell him before it can happen again, and he'll do the same with me. I really liked how it was just cut and dry, no games, no lies, etc.
I agree about the Pisces part--I do not get along with them. Ever. It always starts out really nice, but that's because they seem to adjust who they want to be that day, and I believe it's who they really are until the bs starts, and I find out THEY'RE the real Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde of the zodiac. The games, my God the games. The lies. They tell the worst lies too, you almost feel sorry for them as they create the most fantastical, magical unicorn, leaping leprachaun tales...it's a cross between hilarious, and anger producing. They can't seem to help it though. A Pisces, by his OWN admission, told me he does it because he doesn't like who he is, and feels others don't either, so he re-creates himself often. Of course he and I don't talk anymore (he did that disappearing act thing just once, and when he returned I was gone) but I was in awe (not in a good way) when he said this. Oh sure, we all have our days when we feel we need a new attitude, or a change, but he claimed he totally changed personas, and often. How the hell can you live like that? My older brother (who took it all the worst--in terms of never making his peace with it, and bringing it up all the time), I was so fearful of how he'd be with his kids. Never beat them, never treated them the way our mother treated us. I'm STILL shocked, lol, because he has quite the temper on him, but never took it out on the kids.

virgo is a martyr and by nature, sacrificial. this means that virgo WILL extend themselves far more than most any other sign (sans pisces who have the same nature but with respect to emotions). it's why they make great friends/supporters/workers.

Most people I do a favor for appreciate that one time, and we're done. Makes me open to helping them in the future, just knowing they knew not to overstep boundaries.
