Nietzsche said "If you gaze long enough in the abyss, at some point the abyss will start to gaze in you"..as a means to describe the emptiness within.
But sometimes..sometimes..the abyss looks backs and smiles at you 😄
When ever I am in a mood like you are in I like to go to the beach and literally look out at the abyss and dance like crazy, or ride my bike around at something.
PS I think that when Nietzsche wrote that "when you look at the abyss the abyss looks back at you" he was getting at the fact that we and the abyss are the same thing, all things are interconnected =)
