I recently met a really cool virgo guy online. We had our first date and met for the very first time on my birthday and really hit it off. He was funny and smart, very engaging and gave lots of eye contact. I don't think I was misreading him at all. He definitely seemed to like me and I liked him. After the date was over, he walked me to my car and as we said our goodbyes, he leaned in to kiss me and we shared a pretty sweet kiss. I gave him a quick ride to his car in another parking lot and we kissed some more before saying our goodbyes (again). I had butterflies and it was an awesome end to my birthday and to the date.

Since then though, things have been a little confusing. We text or whatever, but it's usually me initiating with him responding whenever. I will say that he does always respond so that's good. Our conversations are very short and limited though which makes me really want to see him again. Our conversation on the date was so good. Our text convos are just kinda dry sometimes and awkward.. In a couple of convos, I went for it and suggested that we go out on two different occasions... Both times, he agreed, but then later cancelled because of work.

I'm just confused. I think that he's interested but it's so hard to gauge by texting. I'm even more confused by the fact that I'm the one initiating the conversations. I decided not to text him for a few days to wait and see if he'll contact me and suggest a second date. If not, then i'll just be totally confused because it really seemed like he liked me. 😢

It'll be three weeks this Thursday since the first date... Judging by what i've read online he might not be that into me... 😢 This is the bad part of dating. It sucks.

He didn't even offer to make it up to you after he'd canceled both times? Yeah, I don't think he's that interested. It's always a bad sign when you find yourself doing most of the initiating, especially since (virgo) guys are usually not shy about that stuff. It's been 3 weeks and he hasn't proposed another meet up? Major red flag.

Virgo guys will make time for you even last minute if they like you! They are good at keeping the conversation going if into you.

How old is he? Just let him be for now, and wait for him to contact you.

He's 27. And no, he didn't offer to make it up. Well, he kind of did... A week after the first cancelled date, he said that he may be free the next weekend... The next weekend came and he said that he'd be working. Now we're on week 3. I mean, i get it. His job requires travel and late hours or whatever, but it just seems really off putting that we haven't seen each other since then and we barely talk. I just don't get it. I don't know what I could've done in between then and now to mess things up. Unless maybe he met someone else or something. IDK, but I think I'm gonna take a break from dating after this. It's definitely not a good feeling.

As a virgo girl, if we cancel the meet up, we will suggest another time. Or sometimes we even cancel something to meet the ppl we like. So, i guess not really need to be too active at the beginning, i usually be quite cold at the beginning... Remember virgo is an ice

The last guy I was seeing (just recently cut him off) is a Virgo and I can tell you that they tend to be more engaging in person. I had the same issue as you when it came to communication (texting) when we were apart. I will say that he initiated most of the texting but sometimes didn't leave me with much to say. I am very good at keeping conversations going whether it's in person, on the phone or via text but at times it just felt like I was doing most of the question asking and it just eventually got quite tiring. He at times would not even answer some of my questions and would text me randomly the next day like nothing happened. Now in terms of this guy cancelling on you and not rescheduling, I haven't run into that problem with my last guy but I will say that Virgos tend to really immerse themselves into their wor

I know some Virgo men like to take their time getting to know a potential partner and when they are into someone they will do the chasing so in this case give him his space and if he's truly interested then he will come to you... don't text him first.

Sounds familiar to me. I went out with a virgo once and the same thing happened. Great conversation, lots of laughs, instant chemistry, then...a few calls, texts and he just disappeared for the most part. Only difference is I only gave it two weeks after he starting acting weird. So, I start dating someone else. He finds out then he's all about contacting me, all the time. Told him I was dating someone. About 2-3 months later he starts contacting me again. Told him I was still with the guy. The cycle just repeated. I finally told him I wasn't leaving me boyfriend that we were committed and he should stop trying to contact me. Haven't heard from him since.

Yah, just move on. Don't ever be the one doing all the work. If a guy is into you, you'll dang well know it and you shouldn't ever have to try that hard to get one interested in you. If it doesn't work well from the start, it's never going to work well.

This rings true. Even if it's to say good night or reply to your text really quickly much later, genuinely virgo will reach out to show that interest.

Hi, guess what? I'm in the same situation as you!!! I met a Virgo guy online more than a month ago. First date was awesome, lots of eye contact, conversation flowed, body contact etc... We have yet to meet up in person for the second time (not sure if there will be a second time 😢 ) I did my part by suggesting to meet up but it's been put on hold. He works crazy hours at work. In the past month, he and i have been away for work trips. What good timing huh? Texts are short and random, not exactly chatty. Most recently, he ignored me for a week but texted me to ask how i've been. Not sure what to make of all these so i'm just gonna sit back and let him come to me, if he wants to. Best part? I'm a Virgo too... Two overanalytical and passive souls? 😢

Anyway, good luck to you and me!

Sometimes, you can be slowly and gently friend, friends with benefits, or fuck buddy...zoned.

So, be mindful of the scenario you are operating in. Take a step outside and look inside... zoom out.
