Pride maybe. It seems when I open up to him he seems to respond positive but he still doesn't talk about his feelings. Then again I don't talk about mine much either. I always try to keeps things light and fun with him.

That is the longest text message I have ever seen in my life.

But I'm curious to how he responds given the fact that it seems to have slowed down a lot....if I'm reading this correctly.

Crossing my fingers for a good response for you!

Hahaheehee I totally agree. I think the honeymoon phase is over. We have been dating 7 months now. His job is very demanding and he has kids so he doesn't have much free time. I understand that. He is very loyal and loving.

And I thought I sent long text messages!!

I think you need to have this conversation face to face but it doesn't have to be a big deal.

My experience of a Virgo man (Aries Moon, Virgo Venus, Gem Mars, Libra Rising, Virgo Merc I think) was that whenever I tried to communicate lots by text/email... He just didn't get it.

He THOUGHT he got it. I thought he got it. He didn't.

I'm thinking of one example in particular as I type. I won't type it out here but I found he was always so focused elsewhere and busy that he never gave time to just stop. Stop and think. Stop and listen. Stop and feel. Often I felt like shaking him and saying 'do you REALLY get what I'm saying here, is it going into your thick head?'

I'd recommend on focusing on one or two main points of what you want to say. Try not to make him feel bad as Virgo can be rather sensitive but don't always show it. They like to be 'of service' especially with Virgo Venus so highlighting what he DOES do is far better than what he does NOT do.

Oh and he was probably thinking 'ok I get it' but he doesn't, or he was thinking 'wtf this is too much for me to take in, please deliver it in bite sized pieces so my brain can compute!'

My first thought would be "what the fuck is up with this long ass message? this conversation should happen in person"

Some stuff that I'd think about with some paragraphs:

"I never call much because I liked to be lead and don't want to seem clingy. I'm a little stubborn that way...so sorry about that. I hope you don't take that as me not caring about you."

^Umm okay? Cool that it's about you liking to be lead. "so sorry about that" to me sounds like "I am not going to put forth any actions in this so..whatever. But I think "sorry about that" sounds cool and I feel like I should say it.

"Sunday morning came and you woke up with your bed head and zipper down and the first thought that came to mind was goddamn what a SEXY ASS."

^I wouldn't have put this in there at all since you're trying to gauge if this man wants to date you and not just drink beer with you and fuck you. But then I'm not into people who lead with sexuality first and foremost.

Basically..if you were just a fuck buddy to me I wouldn't read it. Just scroll through the paragraphs because it's draining when you get this kind of stuff from a fwb. I am not interested in forging any emotional connection.

If I was dating you..I'd be like "Wtf? She should say this to me in person"

Avoidisms, is NOT (!=) a game either. If you answer, you shall receive.

Didn't 'get it' as in didn't understand it, not didn't 'get it' as in didn't receive it.

My post goes on to expand on that point but the above is for clarification of my meaning.

You're nothing more than a cum bucket .. and in your stupidity, you believe you are worth more, so you send him messages to try and get him to agree with you so you won't feel like such a slut.

To Gemini74,

You must understand Virgo men (make that most men) would mostly likely read long messages such as your only if it pertained to work, equally important matters in his life, or you are of a supremely high ranking priority as an individual.

Under any other circumstance, as they skim through the paragraphs all they would compute = HEADACHE/MIGRAINE.

If you want them to give you their full attention (if you are deserving of so and are bringing up your case in a calm enough manner, no hysterics nor drama), you most certainly must do so in person. When in doubt, follow the rule of speaking with them face to face, when they are not occupied with work or any other matters.

They do listen, but give them forewarning and tell them you would wish to speak with them about certain matters whilst requesting for a set time to be purposely placed aside. When you do so, it allows them the chance to prepare themselves, being placed into a mindset which is receptive and open to your case/cause.

I am most certain, if they cared enough about you, they would reach out to you during their resting period/leisurely hours to hear you out.

Men, only listen to women best when they do not have a million other matters rummaging through their minds. Catch them at the right moment and they fare surprisingly well.

Now you answered your own problem. He never could translate what you said, so he just threw it to the side.

Translation: His intelligence was way lower than yours.

Yes, exactly that.
