What is going on with my Virgo man?

I dated a Virgo man 3 years ago (he went to high school with me and contacted me through FB). We went out 3 times (2 lunches and one incredible weekend) and then I never called or texted him again because I was still mourning over my parents death. Last Father's Day I sent him a card and he was very pleased to hear from me. He called 3 days later and we went out that Saturday. He was as precious as I remembered. We had a very good afternoon and an even better evening. At lunch, he was very passionate and romantic. We went to a movie afterwards and he took me into a corner that was very dark and started kissing me passionately. After the movie, we were the last to leave the movie house and he started kissing me again and when we were leaving, he took me again and kissed me passionately. Well, needless to say, we got a room. That night he was wonderful. Very attentive to me and my needs. I pleased him and vice versa.
In the morning he took me home and he said that since I was off for a week from work that maybe I can go to his house during the week.
I have texted him twice and his answers were very short (something I'm not used to). Today is Wednesday and he has not texted me or called.
I found out that he's on a dating site but I really doubt he will get any dates because I only see the beauty in him (regarding his height and other traits that women do not take a second glance at, or so I think).
What could be going on with him? I have decided not to text him or call him. If he wants me he will initiate it. Can it be that when he's in need, I'm there for him? Would like to make this man mine. BTW: I'm a Gemini woman. Need advice please.

you gave it up too soon. the mystery is gone. don't give the kitty up unless you are in a relationship. i'm learning this the hard way. 😢

I agree, you gave it up too easy. But at the same time, Virgo men tend to be hot and cold. You may not hear from him for a while but he may pop back up a while from now. But judging from what you're saying, it's not looking good in terms of any long-term prospect.

Send a text to him that confirms: "ok, I just want sex"
I guarantee you he'll text because that's the message you gave him when you gave it up for the very low cost of lunch and a movie.

Leave this man for the women who don't see the beauty in him. Apparently you see it so much it clouds your vision entirely.
