I resist the urge to text him, and when he complains I tell him I know he likes his space, which in turn opened more dialogue. 🤷♀️ I've noticed when we dont talk for a few days now he will send me some kind of photo or weird meme just to let me know he is still alive.
Put your foot down, and break up with him via text, tell him it’s not okay to ignore you and tell him you won’t force him to be with your or speak to you. Wish him well.

Yes, and no. No because they may be conflicted in the sense that they enjoy your company and don't necessarily want to lose that or they aren't ready to lose it. Yes in the sense that you aren't important enough in that moment to bother replying to. I've ghosted some of my best friends without any intention of not being friends anymore. But if it's someone that I genuinely want to talk to, they'll always have a reply in a timely manner. Taking that into account with a romantic relationship, you're definitely on the waning side of things. The honeymoon phase is long over with and so is the excitement.
