Posted by SensitiveBluesIt was long enough ago that I'm not insultrd at all.🙂Posted by sultrykittyDAMN im sorry i lol'ed at the having a heart attack to express his emotions
My dad has this combo, with a Capricorn mars, no less.
He was great with us kids, but not super mushy.
Didn't even cry after the death of his mother (no one has ever seen him cry).
It took brain damage from a heart attack for him to actually show emotions. Now they're almost uncontrollable.
Emotions are there, deeply repressed. You CAN feel them, but you won't see them and they won't show them.click to expand

what's your moms sign sultry?

Posted by SensitiveBluesWell it was her moon that couldn't deal. She was an emotional mess for DECADES. Dad was like a deer in headlightsPosted by sultrykittythat's the problem. GEMS know nothing of emotions or getting them expressed.Posted by SensitiveBluesGem sun, either Libra or Scorpio moon (not dure of birth time).

Posted by CrosstownTrafficNo, I think it was work, soccer, and sex. I guess they had a lot of it. He wasn't a drinker, and was a real family man. It's possible that he may have had an affair or two but my mom was absolutely positve up, down, and sideways that he never did. His favorite spot was at home with the wife and kids, even if he did have a lot of outside interests.Posted by sultrykittyMaybe you never had any idea he drove down the road to his favorite spot and let it all out and dealt with it?
But he was a very warm and happy guy. Just had no idea how to deal with emotions. What's weurd is that he was awesome with us as kids. He was the one who kissed booboos and held you tull you were done crying.
It's just that with adult emotions he was lost on how to react.click to expand

Veeery interesting...
The virguy I'm dealing with right now also has mars in cap... and he also works a lot, goes to school AND plays soccer. Kinda very interesting! I'm a cancer sun, venus & mars...taurus moon ...and am just trying to make sense of this dude. It's like I KNOW there are feelings there...but me trying to understand them is like a shot in the dark.

Posted by DamnataJFC. Beat it bitch. Don't tell me I don't know my own Dad, for the last 46 years.
Wow..just wow @ the ignorance and judgment in this topic. From family members nevertheless.
No, let's run with the assumption that Virgos don't feel. We say it over and over again ...because it's best for everyone involved. Then we get emo responses from posters like "You shouldn't carry the burden all to yourself, emote a bit, validate me". When all is said and done..they don't really want to see it/experience it. Very few get it and for those people...they will see it.

Posted by sultrykittyYou're a douchebag for that comment on your father. 'Nuff said 🙂Posted by DamnataJFC. Beat it bitch.

Posted by DamnataDid it ever occur to you that you may have misinterpreted what that meant? It meant that he did NOT emote in any great way until something happened to change him--drastically. No more, no less.Posted by sultrykittyYou're a douchebag for that comment on your father. 'Nuff said 🙂Posted by DamnataJFC. Beat it bitch.

Yeah they THINK and ANALYZE and rationalize and blah....but I wanna know if they're capable of actually accepting feelings and are able to express them in a decent manner.
OR do they just squash it down with a bunch of "rational & logical" thought processes to the point where being emotive isn't even an option until it's time to explode......—?
