The problem, ladies, is the female over-sensitivity to directness because they are used to being pampered and coddled. Actually, not really. If someone took it upon themselves to defend my honor, I'd prefer that they did so with intelligence and tact, as that tends to be much more effective.

I'm not overly sensitive. For a long time, I was. But now, for the most part, I can handle criticism. I hold no bitterness toward Virgoes, in all honesty, but, as with people of any sign, there are good and bad versions. Sure people can talk for ages about the virtues of being honest. I, personally, don't resent bluntness...when people are dealing with me, I prefer it..but that doesn't mean that I'm going to be unnecessarily blunt with every person I know. I just disagree with it.

Pampered and coddled? If that were a problem we wouldn't be here wasting our time.

When I come in here and look at these Virgo's boards, I hear all kinds of people critsizing them for their traits (me included) . . but, not them. Scan through these threads . . what Virgo is putting people down? Whose being rude? Agent? VE? Ferg? Branh? Dyr? Strings? Which one?

Being critical of the Virgo is something all us non-Virgo's do . . I don't hear them at all.

uh, the relationship was 1 1/2 years, it only ended because I was fed up (could have easily went on and on if I was willing to put up with) and "decades and decades" aren't even possible for me since I'm only 29.....I'll leave the "decades" for you grandma...lol

That's because that happens on the boards that they visit, just like everybody else. Go to the scorpio board, and you'll see the most complaints about them. Go to the cancer board, and you'll seet he most complaints about them, and so on.

There are some Pisces men with money, but they normally come from money anyway. Most Pisces either get fired or quit jobs too much to really be finacially stable. The bottom line is this, if we women didn't care for Virgos males we wouldn't be trying to sort out our relationships with them by seeking their counsel and advice. Some people get off on the wrong footing but are no less sincere. The confusion and frustration we sometimes feel is not isolated, so we seem to be having a "bitch" session when we're really trying to get some help. For example, there was an entire thread dedicated to the love match of Virgo and Pisces, the pains, the pleasures and so on, with more than a few Virgos wishing there could have been more from the relationship. In the end the song remains the same - Virgos too cold, Pisces too sensitive.

As mentioned, here is a thread STARTED on the Virgo board, with the intention of bashing the Virgo. A person came out of their way to purposely come to this board, just to throw them down . . .

I don't believe the thread was intentionally started as a bash. It is Miriam's experience and 6 others as well. That's bashing? Where else are you going to go to find out about Virgos? Naturally, the Virgo Message Board. Virgos can be rude, and others can be too. You're not going to convince us otherwise through harshness, only reinforce what's been written.

Woo!! I'm checking the site after awhile and I never expected to find so many replies to this thread! Thank you catfish36 for realising that I never meant for any bashing....anything but! I love my virgo man to death....but why we come to these boards is to gather a little more clarity and insight into certain behaviours that they have. And in turn, the people with this sign can see how there viewed as well. It just gives a very different perspective on things. P-Angel, you're a super-sensitive person I gather (I love people who can wear their heart on their sleeve) and I see that you're over-analysing the situation. Don't take it personally no one's attacking anyone!:-)

It was just my experience that Virgos do seem to 'unconsciously' critise more than other signs and though they don't do it to be mean or hurtful on purpose. And they tend to do that to those they love the most. I was just trying to understand this behaviour.

Now I've noticed this in Virgos but it seems that they're more likely to bite their tounge until they get to a certain boiling point and then they flip out like whoa...but I've noticed this trend even more in Libras because they seem to just tell ya exactly how they feel without breaking a sweat - (my one friend is a Virgo and he's really a patient type person - until something really gets to him - he'll try really hard to be patient and deal with the situation but inside - by the expressions on his face you can see it just slowly wears thin - now my other friend is actually born on a Virgo/Libra cusp and she's also very patient but shes more likely to just tell someone how they feel after a short while if she doesn't agree with what she either hears or does - then there's my other friend whom is a total Libra and she'll just say whatever's on her mind she doesn't care whom it is - she'll just tell it like it is 😛) She's probably one of the boldest people at our jobs - I find this comparable to alot of the air signs at our work - they're very outspoken about how they feel - (esp. our boss of all bosses (she's a Gemini) - she's so outspoken about anything she feels needs to be done that people are actually afraid to speak their minds and usually has alot of them running scared) my one friend (whom is an aquarius) is like that too - (my Virgo friend can't stand him or the recent Gemini that was hired either cause they not only act the same but they have that same outspoken personality as well - they've become fast friends too I might add - the Gemini and Aquarius - surprise surprise 😛) But like I said - all signs are different - my Cap friend has a moon sign of Gemini and is actually infactuated with a Gemini that she's known for years now - and they both seem very much alike (she's outspoken too - was a lil shy when we first started talking but then just got over it and tells me exactly whats on her mind - it's great 😛)

There are illnesses that prevent some people from ever understanding proper interaction with other people. In fact, when they are behaving inappropriately, they have no clue that their speech or actions aren't acceptable.

One I know of is called: Asperger's Syndrome

This is a handicap and people who have it can't help themselves. Perhaps, this should be considered on the individual person and his/her handicaps, before condemning a whole group of not living up to one person's standards of appropriateness.
