There are stages believe me you'll learn a lot of new things over time. No you don't need to avoid him if you see him in person that's just going to make things awkward and confusing.

I asked if he was ok and he said yes hes been working on a work project. Yet I know hes been on social media actively and wasnt working on it yesterday and still chose to ignore me during these times, which quite frankly is hurtful to me now.
I understand but life too short...just tell his ass to be ready on Friday and go have fun 😁

It's just the way it is. After while they will get far more closer but this is going to be a pretty normal occurrence. Not everyone is built to deal with that.

Oh dear sweet little Aqua. Don't put your heart out on your sleeve. Forget the fact he's a Virgo or anything. If you are fawning over a guy way more than he is fawning over you, you let go of them and act unbothered. Forget about you wanting him to know you care because he knows you do and might even get an ego boost from feeling so desired by you. Just act like you're living your life and go meet other people, he'll come after you once he's realized what he's missing out on if he even does.

So is this just a virgo habit then? I didnt do anything wrong?? I'd reach out if i felt it was me but I'm keeping my distance now cause I dont know whats going on. Hes not as active on social media as before, and I dont even see him around anymore...maybe hes dealing with something?? idk. I'm confused lol. Im patient but i dont like not knowing whats going on.

Yeah you're going to have to get use to it.
when he contacts you again doesn't hurt to let him know he can talk to you about anything if he needs someone like that.
Most virgos take years to get comfortable enough with someone to do that but doesn't hurt to let him know.
