the sun is ego/personality and that might often create a 'clash' but i've observed that the higher concentration of that energy is often in the moon and of course the emotional manifestation/desires associated with it.
more that i know of the capricorn sun/pisces moon, the more i recognize the traits classically associated with it. of course he's a huge chunk of his sun with his concern for finances and career advancement but in matters of the heart, he's very much what i've always suspected. i can write letters to him which i know he'd accept instead of discarding. he's shared that most people tend to find him 'effeminate' but i adore him and his well-manicured nails. he's sensitive, romantic and very sweet. now these are traits that may be externals for the sun (not always) but is exemplified it seems.... in the moon.
but maybe i'm biased coz i just watched this man fold his laundry on videochat yesterday and find him fascinating lol.
i'm not saying that you are 'less' of the energy of whatever your sun is
but that sometimes you are at the mercy of your moon or your dominants
i don't have this issue being virgo in all sun, rising and mercury
the moon will ultimately determine your romantic personality and even the signs one tend to find attractive or attract

I have dated Pisces men and we are compatible but I grow frustrated with the inconsistency/instability of the fish swimming away only to try swimming back. Maybe if the Pisces had an earth moon that might balance him out.

i'm not saying anything new really.
i just think that there's a higher concentration of energy in the moon. there is an instinct on there, that sudden pulse that speaks of innermost desires. it doesn't matter whether you like your moon or not coz you will forever live with it anyway.

Oh don't you worry about that, Maevis. Pisces suns are chameleons, we can be anything we wanna be. My sun was more than happy to relinquish control to my Aries Merc/Mars/Venus when it was high time to bitchslap a brain-dead Cap mooner. My Virgo moon kept the feels to a minimum while delivering said overdue bitchslapping, and my Sag rising took a nap throughout the whole thing.
Got a perfect synergy of water, fire & earth going, along with a durable mind to handle it all. Wouldn't change a damn thing.

My husband is a Virgo sun+moon. I'm a Pisces. I know in the past when we've been at odds its his emotional ties to me that kept him in the relationship, even when he logically thought it would be easier to break things off.
I've also seen way more Virgo moons being in ltr with Pisces suns than Virgo suns.

like i went on a panic a while back coz i thought he's upset and ignoring me (i felt like DYING) coz i've been sulking lately but no he was out getting me a present to celebrate a full month of us knowing each other lol he is so cute and first time i'm actually considering marriage. we've talked about marrying each other almost as soon as we met lol we probably sound crazy asf.

i had a pisces ex with an aries moon but tbh he's always seemed more like a fire sign to me but this cap sun/pisces moon.... seems much more pisces to me lol i can't explain it but we had a little miscommunication awhile back and we've barely been together a month but i really felt my heart drop, felt so crazy that i went out the house in my pjs thinking maybe it's my phone signal or whatever but i went into panic over nothing coz he's just been busy picking out a present for me. and it's like he can tell whenever i'm upset. we've been love bombing each other since day one, sending each other presents and immediately talked about getting married. i feel so crazy but i don't care. he's changed his entire schedule around for me, sleeps like 3 hours just so he can be with me and spoiling the crap outta me.

Yeah earth sun + watery moon makes for a sweet treat ❤️ I was with a cap sun/cancer moon for 10+ years and he is like that too, sensitive and spoiling etc then I also briefly dated a Virgo with Pisces moon. The earth sun with watery moon is addicting in my experience. They are the best of both worlds
