writing mistakes/follies

what have you learned when writing stories that made you go...duh...

i would re-read and edit some stuff and i saw i wrote out the entire word of "10 mm submachine gun"

when i could have written out, "10 mm SMG"

now wouldn't that be better?

they say that its better to write out words out even if they are numbers.

for example "five hundred sixty-five dollars"

i mean all that writing...

why can't it just be, " $ 565.00" ??

any mistakes you think of,

in poetry there really isnt anything to make mistakes.



actually if you do a search,

there's dumb mistakes such as



"They're , their, they are,"

"your, yours, You're" ....peeps should have, could have but didnt have to learn this in grammar school.

what if you're a ESL student?
