i've read too that you're at 'your best' when you love the way your venus would want you to. in my case, by providing lots of freedom, respect, genuine friendship and support.

but if you're 'forced' to tap into your moon, that would represent 'the worst' in you. and all your defense mechanisms at work. in my case, jealousy, distrust and possessiveness.

what did you observe in your own moon and venus placements?

i feel like there's a huge discrepancy between mine.

8H moon:

"This placement can show jealousy or a desire to possess their lovers like a witch casting a love spell."

11H venus:

"Friendship is the most important aspect of love for Venus in the 11th house and is the main thing that keeps you around."

so you can obvi see why. like in my head i'm a completely obsessed OJ simpson 8H moon

but in practical reality, i am 11H venus:

I'll stick with my 8H Aqua Mars.

@virgooppp you got squared houses in your moon and Venus but many people overlook that moon and Venus archetype is naturally squared Both cardinal (water/air;Cancer/Libra)

i feel like my venus makes me idealize aqua energy.

like i had this weird plan to 'marry' this aqua guy friend of mine (but it's gonna be a fake engagement) coz he's low-key gay and i tend to be really erratic in romantic relationships. plus our families' expectations. we can freely have relationships with whoever we want (and i won't look bad to my family whenever i change my mind about a guy again lmao). but that whole scheme fell apart coz i met a pisces moon/aqua venus. and that's a beautiful combo. sucks tho coz my family doesn't like him. maybe i do this even more for my rebel 11H venus reasons.

I mean we are both southern we have somewhat compatible sun and moon signs and we are both into astrology good enough for me. 🧝🏾‍♀️How I’m dressing for our hippy domestic partnership ceremony 😂

1st House Venus in Leo (conj. ASC) vs. 10th House Moon in Aries.

Both in a square. Also, Moon Opposite Pluto/Saturn... Venus Square Pluto/Saturn... Moon Trine Neptune... Venus Trine Neptune/Uranus.

Maybe because it's a personal experience - the meaning of my words is lost on others. Or maybe i just don't know how to express those heart felt/lived experiences - in a language that everyone (or at least most people) can understand. Then again... as someone pointed out in another topic (among the few things he actually got right) - "the people who don't like us - couldn't care less where we're coming from or what we have to say (or something like that / I forgot the actual wording)" - so it could be that too. My moon in 8th and venus in 11th desire a functional unit. I desire to evolve with a partner and that's only possible when there's an element of friendship. The relationship needs to have a direction which needs to be observable and verbalized.

I respect men who can be blunt and know what they want from me, not wrap me into promises when it's only the physical that's desired. It's only fun if we're both playing the same game.

i've observed a lot of relationships held together by sex and familiarity. but when things go wrong, these people can humiliate, disrespect, steal from and abuse each other.

but some people think you care if you show bad behavior.

someone: "i don't feel like you care. you don't even ask where i am, what i'm doing."

me: "i trust you are where you're supposed to be and doing what you will. if you wanted me to know, you'd have told me. if you didn't, then you won't or you'd have lied. i expect that you're making the right choices."

i swear some people just want a babysitter and i'm just not gonna play that role.

Yep, I can relate to asking lots of questions to learn about "my man" and to over-sharing, including things that don't put me in a favourable light. It's all for the sake of getting to know everything, good and bad, about each other. I agree I have to learn how to communicate less especially at the beginning of a relationship, since it will backfire each time I have less time for it and so my love interest starts being clingy and insecure, or worse, abusing and coercing.
