she says that she misses me so much but doesn't respond to my texts for several days (and sometimes not all) nor makes an effort to hang out with me. is she just THAT busy or is she blowing smoke up my ass?

she is taking 8 classes this semester and is finishing grad school apps and her final draft her honors thesis.........

But this intermittent ghosting / not responding to my texts ( for 3-5 days or even later) started in late November (around finals to be fair).......when I was started to to be more verbally affectionate towards her/tried to make plans

like if you are going to ghost ghost all the way!

or is she doing the slow fade?

but if she is doing the slow fade why do she keep saying she misses me ...especially after not texting me/responding to my texts?

My gemini friend does this as well, no harm intended from his part, he's always busy and always not emotionally ready to reply to affectionate texts lol

it's weird. I found her slightly annoying at first

and then she grew on me

with all of the consistent texting and attempts to hang .

then I caught feelings and so now I actually want to / miss spending time with her.

which really pisses me off....like I'm pissed at myself for allowing myself to catch feelings for someone..especially someone whom there were so many red flags already.

in short I think I have a pretty grounded view towards her ....if anything my view towards her maybe be too pessimistic.

which is also why I am not okay with being attracted and having feelings for her....also why I did not make a move last semester.

Is it possible you’re reading too much into it? The majority of my friends are gemini suns, as well as my bf. Generally speaking, if they’re into you they’ll make an effort. I know she had said that she misses you, and I’m sure she’s being sincere, but is it possible it doesn’t go any further than that?

She also has a lot going on from the sounds of it. She may just be focusing on her studies and replying to you when she has the time and energy to do so?

..... if people are into you they make an effort.

imho I have had this theory for a couple of months that she is just stringing me along for attention purposes/validation.

I think she was trying to get me to like her not because she genuinely liked me but because she liked the chase / needed the ego validation....

once I started to indicate that she was winning me over ( e.g by mainly texting her semi affectionate things and initiating trying to hang out with her ) she pretty much pulled a 180

and started this I'm too busy to even reply usually yet I really miss you bs



she just doesn't seem sincere .... and.most of her affectionate texts have been her mirroring me.

( e.g- I said I had a really nourishing convo with another person when I was hanging out with her.....she later that night texted me how she always feels nourished by our convos).it's like she's trying to just say and or text me what I want to hear.

what confuses me though is why she feels that way / why she initiates saying those affectionate things.

I get if i was the one initiating the affectionate texts but it's been mostly her. I've only recently have been trying to make an effort to be more open about my feelings towards her as it isnot in my nature ( taurus Venus here) and outside people have been encouraging me to do so.
