Hey Aquarians,
How's everyone? I've been working a ton of overtime and my boss (Pisces) has me on an art project with another aqua. It's been pretty fun. The other day a co-worker (Scorpio) was heated because his lunch was thrown out and he was snapping at everyone and circling around us (Aquas), my boss (Pisces) was calming him down and there was another co-worker (Cancer) that was doing the sideways shuffle around the area as four of us aqua's we're working on a project. It was a very entertaining day and amusing to watch.
And, I'm not ready for Christmas, I still have to go shopping. -.-

I think we should have the Aqua awards so we can have more varied categories such as:Most likely to have sex with a farm animal: (Tate)
Most likely to stalk George Clooney: (lisabethur)
Favorite drunk poster: (kraft)
Worst troll job: (Firebunny)
Biggest knuckledragger: (Pick an Aries)

lol @ George Clooney. Sorry, but he's taken by another Aquarius sun, with Venus Aquarius to boot!! But that Aries Venus of his is loving the "Fighter" in her, as her being a London Lawyer and all.
well it's good he FINALLY settled.

hahahahaha!!!!
kind of off-putting, when i was reading some astro-boards awhile back.
some women are supposedly married but they're craving loving other placements, signs that are NOT their husbands.
for example, "i am so attracted and desire this sign_____ and this placement__"
then their husband has NONE of those placements.
wtf??!!!! then they say, i believe in sticking to a marriage despite blah blah.
wtf?? Girl, if your hubby read that, that's super depressing and shit!! i can't believe it.
anyway, ranting. cause this place helps me rant over silly observing astrology ranting stuff.
it's like they want what others are desiring!!! and not their own. wtf??!
are you learning astrology to understand relationships between family/friends/neighbors,
to understand deeper meanings of life, or are you just around seeking for a certain sign/placement?
are they even married? *scratches head*
disloyal motherfuckers!!!
ok. *whew* rant over.
this is how my hubby makes me feel at times:
when i'm with you i have fun. I hate sleeping alone....

i thought perhaps they are broken up but she still refers to her as her husband, but no. I believe some people just get into astrology then, when they join messageboards, they get "turned" on by certain placements/ect by the way the writers portray them. It's seductive and ridiculous, because it's not based on realism. Perhaps they fall in love with the "ideal" of it. If that's the case, it's best not to be in a committed relationship and keep falling in love with people you never meet. Unrequited.
i'm not even gonna mention what sign she wants very badly (you can hazard a guess) *rollseyes*
but, it's the most wanted/DESIRED. *rolleyes somemore*
and her sign and her husband's is completely different.

Hi I'm looking for a book gift for my aqua girlfriend for x-mas. she is an avid reader. i unfortunately am not that book savvy. but I do love when she shares her views on something she enjoys reading.
my question. Are there any good books you Aqau ladies could recommend to me? it would be most appreciated. to give you an idea she like uniquely interesting books that send a positive message, empowerment books or subjects on overcoming obstacles also interest her. she is not really into best sellers. and stays away from anything violent or highly sexual. again an ideas would be most appreciated
thanks

I know this much is true -- Wally Lamb
A fine balance -- Rohinton Mistry

i haven't been reading any books lately since i got into astrology. No time. mostly watching good tv series/films with hubby and doing some writing. No time for anything else.
I'd only recommend Carlos Castenada. Awesome books. Paulo Coelho is also good.
we didn't get any sleep as hubby had to get to work super early and i had to make breakfast for him. Did some christmas cards and wrapping some presents.
What about you all? You all getting much rest or sleep around these holidays? Last year i had relatives stay over.
next week, christmas, guys. i'm kind of nervous, and anxious this year. i dont know why. maybe it's cause of grandma.
i bought some wine for the neighbors (xmas gift) and some wine for some relatives that love that stuff. Good wine of course.
oh theses look very thought provoking. thank you π
lisabethur8 have you read "By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept " this looks like something that would intrigue her
i was so excited about winter holidays last year...
i am so "off" this year.... π’ π’ π’
everything feels more like "duty", not "pleasure"
any ideas why? or how to change this mood?
lisabethur8 have you read "By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept " this looks like something that would intrigue her
i read the alchemist, the devil and miss prym, 11 minutes and a few others but i don't remember that one. that one was hard to find for me because i found it in spanish and i dont read spanish. comprehende?
oh i nearly forgot that i did get that book while i was in England/UK last year when visiting relatives. it was the 50 shades of grey book or something. Was quite RACY. O_O
don't know if anyone wants to pick that up. It's hot and sexy if you like bondage, but the main character will irritate you at times. Even the male main character is irritating. lol
50 shades of grey not her taste but thanks for the author recommendation. i think Paulo Coelho might be a good choice skimmed thru some of his stuff. seems like a good choice

50 shades not her taste? awwwww. π
guess i won't be recommending Anne Rice's steamy and hot novels either.
now dont get me wrong she burning with passion, but books like that don't really intrigue here.
example when we first met i gave her a book ( the claiming of sleeping beauty) i think ann rice wrote this under a different pen name. later in time she confessed to me that she read 2 pages and packed it away. she told me quite simply, she rather experience something erotic it than read about it.

I've read all those books you mentioned -- Castaneda, years ago.
My all time favorite book is from Gabriel Garcia Marquez... One hundred years of solitude. Have you read that?

Anne Rice is way better than 50 shades though -- I couldn't get through half of 50 shades... Poorly written IMO.
I went to a Anne Rice book signing. It was so creepy seeing all the people in line dressed like vampires lol, teeth and all!

i actually love anne rice books, not all though. I didnt especially like her latest ones, but her earlier ones were amazing. She has the ability to create a magical characters that seem so alive. It is definitely much well written than 50 shades. I believe 50 shades is more mainstream, and in today's mainstream, it seems more people are into the "bondage" thing going on.
lol@the creepy people lining up. That sounds rather awesome, similar to a goth convention or something. π

i can NEVER get enough of Castenada. I take one or two of his books with me all the time on vacation. Castaneda cracks me up with his cluelessness at times. π
Don Juan and the others make fun of him, but not in a mean way.
oh i didn't read Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but i did look at the summary/wikipedia, it sounds like a book i'd love reading. My mother in law always knows what types i like. She bought me Barbara Kingslover The Lacuna, and i was the one who introduced her to Kingslover. She loved her books. She has more philosophical tastes, i don't. But i did enjoy Sophies world.

Today was rough..
I work in the apartment industry, had a lady come in to let me know a neighbor was "sleeping" in his car, which she was referring to an elderly gentleman who is well known in our office. I immediately close the office to go make sure he is okay and found him half in his car, it's running, keys on the ground and it seems as if he has had a stroke. We call 911 to get him help... co worker goes to get his daughter, find out he left hours ago, so who know how long he was sitting in his car like this.
As I'm waiting for the ambulance, he starts shaking and I can see he is still breathing but in distress. I felt so helpless because I couldn't help him. AS far as I know he is still alive and I thank god the neighbor came and got me.. still not sure why she didn't go knock on his door to alert the daughter or why she didn't call 911.. but it doesn't' matter, we got him help!
Hopefully tomorrow I will get news on if he is okay or not... It's a fear of mine to end up alone, distressed and not having anyone to help me and this just hits home... I went back to the office and cried and tried not to think to much on the what if's in life..
no matter how much you may be upset with someone, tell then you love them because you never know.
