It happened Thursday night. My wife a Cancer. She has PMDD. Well I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I usually leave the bathroom door cracked because I'm not worried about her coming in and what not. Anyways she got up also and walk into the bathroom and saw me there first, she then got mad at me for getting to the bathroom first. This led to an argument. Then she shut the bedroom door on me. I grabbed my keys while angry and just took a night drive around my town.

that is way too extreme. If I left the house like that, my husband would lock the door.
and if he did that, i'd be UPSET that he left, and I would be WORRIED as hell.
thank god he doesn't do that and I don't do that.

I don't think we get that angry at eachother much.
the first time my husband got angry at me was in the beginning of our relationship, after that, it seemed like I learn fast, and what not to make him upset.
I don't know if he actually would lock the door, if I ever did something RASH and crazy like that, but he would HATE it very very much if I left anywhere without him knowing where I went. It's just not right. same if he did the same thing.

One reason is that they both can remove undue emotion and look at things objectively without losing context or taking offense. Also, I find both are selfless in that they realize when things work for all, everyone benefits, including themselves.
