Just a question for the aqua women, who have made me suffer my whole life lol:

I am trying to finde inner closure with an aqua girl who has messed up my head. I don't want to go too much into details but since aquas are known to be detached, cold at times and not really open to their feelings at first, I hope i can finaly find some answers even when so much time has passed by, but I can't get over her and I am not in touch with her anymore since we kind of had argument. So here is my question:

Imagine it's the 14th of February, would you send a short yet kind of flirty/personal text message in the night to a guy on Valentine's Day, if

a) you have known him just for a short period of time and were actually interested in him

b) you see him as a friend only, yet again have not known him for too long and actually not seen him for weeks

c) you want to fool him?

as for a) Personally I would never send a VD message to anybody if this person were not my gf or a girl I were interested in. I mean if VD was like any other hollyday then how come I don't know too many guys (actually NONE) who send a VD message to their best buddies, dads or bosses? "Hey Jim, Happy Valentine's Day dude, Bob." I mean really? lol

as for b) I know women say Happy VD a lot to their female friends, family members and mayve even good guy friends who they have known for years but would you really say it to just any friend of yours? Wouldn't it give the receiver the wrong message?

c) Well I don't really know why she would fool me. Do aqua girls fool you just for fun? Maybe I did something wrong, maybe she just wanted attention and validation, maybe I didn't meet her expectations maybe...I just don't know. After VD I asked her out but we got in a little argument because I didn't know whether she was playing with me given her responses made little sense to me so I got a little pushy and over confident. She cut me off, I cut her off, yeah I know little chlidren crap even though we are supposed to be adults.

this is definitely mixed messages. don't get your hopes up for some woman who sends VD messages to everyone when she thinks it's a holiday to make people smile.

some women do go overboard only making sure you have a smile and have good day. they want to make your day brighten an happy and they will be off on their way.

they are not invested in you as an individual, so just smile and say thank you and it's a nice gesture.

however in this case, this is bad case because you kept your hopes up. That's why it's better not to do anything and keep to yourself because people will get the wrong idea when you don't really want more than acquaintance. how is it cold when she's trying to make you smile?? Is it only cold because she didn't want to get DEEP with you?

that's why it's cold, because you weren't satisfied and the gesture of smiles and hi how was your day is so fleeting and you feel you want more.

now I understand why a lot of people get sad and crestfallen when they didn't get the woman and she is all smiles and trying to make you smile.

ladies, if you read this, don't send any VD messages or make people smile because it is fleeting and they're gonna get mixed signals. if you feel you want to make smiles, work at the old folks home and make valentines cards for all the old folks in wheelchairs and disability and make their days smile. Maybe an old man will fall in love but he'll be wise to know it was just a very lovely gesture.

btw, I don't know if that's the case. I'm just putting myself in her place. Cause I don't do that. I don't send VD cards to people.

I don't know whether she sent other mass textes on VD but I know for sure that this particular text was sent to me only because she called me a special nick name, kind of an inside thing between us so I don't think she used the same nick for other people. Now if it was only "Happy VD" then I would have assumed it to be a mass text. But our history was a little bit strange since we had not texted and seen each other for weeks up to that day and there were also some weird moments of jealousy, deep looks and bodylanguage on both of our parts in the weeks leading to VD.

Yes I think it is not a nice gesture at all. Why would I send a Happy VD text to anybody? Why would anybody think it would make me smile if I got such a friendly message? Usually I have never cared about that day and I don't get the people who complain about not getting any friendly messages from their friends on VD, as if they wouldn't still be single the next day. I figured most people who say Happy VD to their friends add something like "Happy VD my good friend" or "Always a good friend Happy VD"..so basicly they make it obvious enough that it's just a friendly gesture.

You should be careful on your approach whenever you do. He is a co-worker and if things gone bad between you two. Things wouldn't bode well at your workplace as you're forced to see him everyday. If you sort out this risk and go ahead and go through with it anyways. Do some research on him and determine if he is worth that risk before making any advances that is other then professional. Key things to look at is if he's single or if he is interested. Another is that is he willing to take that risk also.

Nope, not really. But it differs with each individual. If I am being ostracized for being myself. Then that is their problem. Not mine.
