I looked online, and haven't seen much of anything regarding this - always other signs/planetary influences. While I realize alcoholism is a cross spectrum issue, I have noticed all of the male Aquarians I know are (high functioning) alcoholics. Every single one. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience?
Aquarian Men and Alcoholism
Agreed.. my bf loves to drink. When we met, he was going through things and he was drinking all the time and getting drunk. One day he threw up blood.. I decided to step in. I always let him take the lead but I knew I had to help my man! So I said let’s do weekly detoxes! So now we do detox together and have a cheat day. Best advice is to create a competition or a challenge and they will stop! Someone had to do it with them

What constitutes an alcoholic to you?
Excessive, almost daily drinking. Excessive meaning 8-12 beers, plus a couple/few shots hard liquor, or nearly a 5th of liquor in an evening. I mean, they have good taste in what they drink, but it's a ridiculous amount, and they still can function, so I guess that's something. If I could get their birth times (only know 2), might be able to pin something more concrete down. Just occurred to me. I'm sure there are examples to the opposite.

Lmao yessssss. I was fwb with an alcoholic aqua who was in the air force. On days he didn’t have work he’d start drinking from the moment he woke up. He wasn’t high functioning though considering alcohol gave him whiskey dick and he couldn’t function at work. Literally showed up to work one day late and drunk which lost him his promotion and got him this close to being dishonorably discharged. Once I moved away he sobered up for a minute to get healthy, but after the new year he fell off the wagon again, but I don’t think it’s as bad as it was before.

Get the charts of every single aquarius that are high functioning alcoholics from your experience then get the charts of every alcoholic you can encounter. From there you can derive a better conclusion.
I love alcohol and work with alcohol and might even be seen as an alcoholic to some but outside of experimentation and maybe a few drinks going out I don't really touch alcohol all that much.
I see the aquarian energy as more as experimentation and catalogue of experiences, that inlcudes hard drugs as well and Aquarians like any other is susceptible to addiction.

It's more the opposite in my experience.
Same. Usually because they can't handle it, they have one bad experience then don't ever do it again... or at least not often.click to expand
That's me 🙋

My aqua likes to drink but so do I. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s only social drinking though and we’re still young so whatevs.
He can handle his alcohol well and never gets out of hand.

Hmmm......for a long time i had the habit of smoking a joint at the end of the day, when all settled down.
I replaced it now with half a glass of wine and pepsi mixed together. I do this almost daily. Every few weeks i still light up a joint to go with it.
Other than that, i don't particularly like to drink but when i do it's always hard liquor, like whiskey, vodka, jaeger shots. Beer is pisswater to me.
I worked with alcohol too, i figured a long time ago that the goldilocks zone of alcohol, ie. that point when you're just feisty enough that it's all funny is extremely small and you quickly go over the edge into being a drunken retard. So i learned that when i'm in that zone, best would be to call the coke dealer so that coke would set me straight so i can continue to work through the night.
Almost as a rule i never drank outside of working hours. I'm out of that business now and only drink very casually when protocol "demands" it. Weddings, funerals, birthday's, Christmas and NY's eve.

I've noticed a pattern as well. I have had two close Aquarian friends who were both heavy drinkers and have been for years. Yet, still completely functional and high-performing at their jobs. A recent Aquarian acquaintance has admitted to refusing to drink because he recognized that he couldn't handle having one or two. They stand out to me, because they drink as hard or harder, and then wake up and go to work with the same level of intent.
Yep, my aqua female friend, heavy drinker n was into drugs. aqua male friend, drinks in every party sometimes at home. another aqua that i know, every wee hours always drink drink drink, wine, scotch, etc.

Nope. All the aquarius in my life ( more than 15) they enjoy alcohol but they drink in moderation

Not sure it's just sun sign related but anyone who can't go for a day without booze is probably on the verge of a slippery slope?

Yeah what's the difference between being an alcoholic and being european?

Newer studies found that it’s not only the antioxidants in wine. It is actually the alcohol in it that is good but only in moderation.

Really? I wasn't aware of this.
Guess it's time to get drunk again even if that means waking up in an unknown bedroom the next morning again.click to expand
For health benefits is best not to get drunk, but from a Pisces perspective nothing wrong with that if you have enjoyed the process and you don’t regret anything about it 😄

Yes, and it lowers blood pressure that is a common problem for lots of people

From being married to one, yeah, I can say from my experience that his hedonism is/was headed towards certain death.
