Why does it sound like I'm considering a casual relationship? I told him I'm not interested unless it's something meaningful. Maybe he'll be doing that in no time but not with me, we're in the same group of friends, I'm not shitting were I'm eating. Jumping to conclusions much?

Haha love all the opinions, thank you! I've dated an Aqua long distance once and it was very challenging but we thought we were soulmates for a long time. But things got in the way and it was a long time ago so I don't recall the little things and how we ended up together!! I always since got on with them as friends but this is the first one in years that I was interested in.

Wells we hung out again and it was a bit flirty but not so much, he messaged me after again but not the same vibe.. It came up that he doesn't want to get involved with anyone as he wants to have a friends group (we are in the same community/friendship group and he just been introduced) and i said he might not want to say flirty things to lead people on and he said he thought we are just flirty friends etc so now we cleared it up and he said he won't flirt with me anymore and i'm sad af but guess it's for the best. Can't i just live my life with people not leading me on ffs.

Are these groups age divided? I always thought it is for older people. But he is 25. How old are you?

It's like a sci fi appreciation community where we catch up and nerd out so it's not just me he's got that mutual interest with he just means because he's just getting to know other people within the community he doesn't want to date 🤷

I could see him watching me all night esp when I was dancing then he messaged me after and we chatted late night. Chatted the next day and as we live close by and had nothing to do I asked him for a coffee nearby.
We hung out for hours, sitting and talking (it wasn't a date) and he kept moving closer so our legs would touch and give me subtle touches. He's 25 and said he's enjoying being single etc so I joked that he's a f boy and he kept bringing the topic back saying his last relos were really shit etc, there was a lot of tension but I was clear that I'm not into casual. He kept trying to justify and ask why I think he's not serious etc and I thought it was sweet he cares what I think. He said we should hang again before we said goodbye.
He messaged me as soon as I left and kept saying things like "you're definitely my type, I had to remind myself we're in the same friends group so I wouldn't act on my desires and kiss you" etc and I was somewhat reciprocating, giving him a bit and saying I enjoyed it etc but not putting my cards all out.
Couple days later messaged him and the chat is off, he's responsive but not so much, replied to my story then left me on read again. Such a contrast between him being all over me and now this.
Give me tips please as I do like him. We have a group event coming up so I'll see him in a few days. Tia xx
