Classic Hollywood onscreen couples like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire or Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall remain legendary due to their chemistry, acting artistry, and dedication, which contributed to timeless performances that continue to influence cinema today.
Sorry the first one didn't come out
Here's another pic of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers
Doh! OK let's see if this goes thru
Well there must be some fierce copyright restrictions on the ginger rogers & Fred Astaire pictures!
Finally!
Yeah ok why not. I never said dogs couldn't be considered.
I think Elizabeth Taylore & Richard Burton should feature too as they had some sizzle chemistry going on. A lot of fighting too from what I gather but they divorced and married eachother twice.
This is a pic of them playing Cleopatra and Marc Anthony from the famous movie
I don't like Angeline Jolie because she comes across as taking herself too seriously and Brad Pitt just seems kinda goofy around like a love sick teenager. But yeah they have good screen chemistry I guess. I still think it was a bit shit the way he dumped his wife for Jolie tho.
For now, I say the best onscreen couple is .... Lauren Bacall & Humphrey Bogart 😛 It's something about those two 😉 Haha, I guess their real life relationship helped add to their chemistry 🙂
Yeah it probably helps their marriages what with all the professional role playing and stuff to keep the spice going!!
Was Hans Solo played by Harrison Ford?
Yeah I guess you have a point GL about the Pitt-Aniston split. But I'm still not a huge fan of Jolie. It's probaly partly cos I'm jealous of her as being ahot stud of a woman but I still think she's a bit of a pain.
Ah yes Harrison Ford in his younger days. Yessssirrreeeee. I thought he and KApe Capshaw made a hot couple if one of the Indiana Jones movies.
Tony Curtis? Hmm yes I spose he was hot enough but not my particular cup of tea 😛
I made a video for Valentine's day concerning the hot men and their lady loves I loved in some action flicks. http://www.greta2242.com/hero.wmv (The SPEED bit goes too long but I still smile when I see Indiana Jones and his girl in Raiders of the Lost Arc.)
I love so many on screen couples.
Long Hot Summer with Paul Newman and his wife Joanne Woodward (all there movies are good but I love the part where he kisses her in the shop.)
Gone with the Wind sizzles with those no names (kidding!.)
Briget Jones Renee Zellweger/Colin Firth
When a movie has that 'it' factor with sexual chemisry, I am just happy to watch and dream for the two hours.
JMO on the Indy trilogy... I hated the middle one because she was just a screamer. Every time something happened she screamed her head off and gave me a headache. I much MUCH preferred him in the first one with Karen Allen's character. She was spunky and fun to cheer for with a hero like Indiana Jones.
I find Sally Field slightly nauseating at the best of times but I don't think I've seen that movie Soap Dish. Actually Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks have a good screen rapport don't they? Although it's not sizzle so I'd only rate it was of mediocre sex appeal!
*was = as
Kevin Kline was particularly sexy and moving in the movie Cry Freedom although he was strictly part of a couple in it but I just thought I'd mention it anyway! I wonder if Halle Barry has ever had onscreen chemistry with another male actor. I happen to thik she is amazing pretty and sexy it's a shame that she asn't been in a movie where her sex siren potential is exploited.
Have you ever seen him in A Fish Called Wanda? If not, get it out!!! It's hil-arious. I find him sexy cos he's very funny and yet exudes a gentle sensitivity. I would do him needless to say if he was stuck for a shag !!!
fish called wonder, is a FANTASTIC FILM, been years though i still remember it

And they're all oldies but in my opinion they still feauture as the best couples to come out of Hollywood. Perhaps it was due to the artistry and dedication that went into making movies 40+years ago, that actors grew to appreciate their on screen colleagues and gel with them more. I dunno really why but this is my list anyway.
Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire:
Laurence Olivier & Vivien Leigh:
Spencer Tracey & Katherine Hepburn:
Lauren Bacall & Humphrey Bogart:
