What's something in your life that makes you happy? To many threads on here can be depressing, let's make a happy place.

Things that make me happy:

books, love how the paper smells
finding something in an antique store that reminds me of my grandmother
being around bodies of water- oceans, lakes, rivers doesn't matter
sunsets with tons of colors
rain puddles 🙂

I can add more but wanted to hear from you guys too!!

Books, music, my child, quiet time & my job of course.

Chairs for sitting, couches for lounging, beds for sleeping!

I am afraid of beanbags--I'm pretty sure they are made by aliens or at least filled with alien materials.

As for the rain puddles I listed. I loved to walk barefoot in them as a kid.

I enjoy making music, and doing a lot of things to keep myself happy such as my parakeets, and the people I love. That's all that matters in a world like this. Oh yeah and cuddling is cool

Fluffy things, shiny things, sparkly things, my best friend, my mother, my comfy bed, Spring, rainy days, ditto on bodies of water, 70's music (so positive), All Music, Winning card/board games, Weeeed (bluedream is euphoric) 😆, food (I like treats), Hot Coco, Everything and anything Chocolate! (cept for mint, and fruit fillings, Flowers, Star lit skies, Happy endings, Accomplishing difficult tasks, When things come out exactly how I wanted it too... lol

Thanks and I concur! I'm a 90's babe = ) R&B/Hiphop/Rock/Pop loved it all! 60's Motown/funk, 70's rock/disco, but the 70's was just filled with brilliant, creative, and inspiring people in music in general.

I like being around kids and animals they always make me laugh.

I like drinking and listening to tunes in the afternoon on my friends porch in the sun, getting brown and eventually watching it set and being in twilight is always a good time for me.

I love good coffee.

I love almost all music, from classical to rock, not a fan of rap, that stuff can go bye bye lol. I get lost in music or use it to express moods.

I was a huge gamer for years- what RPG's you play?
I got hooked on Final fantasy 8, was my first love of games.

today my bed makes me happy! Not much sleep this week has taken its toll! 😢

Hmm...Things that make me happy:

1. Doing a random good deed for someone else or seeing someone else do this "just because."

2. Seeing fathers who are very hands-on with their children just as much as the mothers are.

3. Seeing people walk away from toxic relationships/situations & growing stronger from it

4. Seeing family units out in public...ya know...the mom, the dad pushing the baby stroller & the family laughing & enjoying themselves (don't fall for the hype/pessimism that people don't want/have/value the art of a "family unit" anymore)

5. Beaches...oceans...anything involving nature. It's so peaceful & so beautiful

6. Seeing someone beat/defeat the odds...ya know, the person who survived even though doctors told them they wouldn't, seeing plus-sized or not "Beyonce" looking women succeed & get just as much success/respect/acknowledge for their beauty

7. Good old unadulterated-love =)

I enjoy playing basketball, walking my dog in the park, reading, writing and of course chillin at the bar after a long day of work.

Love the smell of money and the interior of my 2004 deville uh cadillacs make me very happy! Drive my deville in the open road with the windows open, cigarette in my mouth and Lightnin Hopkins blaring in the cd player.

Knowin that I'm livin every moment of my life like it gonna be my last makes me proud!

Cathedrals, churches, abstract art, baroque art, sculptures and anything that makes me think makes me happy.
