Snozzy, thanks brother!!
this is the Internet and therefore people will express whatever opinion or interpretation they like and we cannot change that. I can even learn from it so I will be more careful how I post in future... Let's just call this thread a Waggie-learning curve 🙂
It's absolutely okay.
Lisabeth please look at my posts from two years ago, I brought my Cappies addiction issues to the Cap board and got some great advice from truecap, djbuck, and a few others...this isn't something I just pulled out of the blue.
This is not made up.

There was a Pisces gent who left DXP just as I joined and I miss him. He had been sober for a little while and understood a lot of things about alcoholism etc and made sure to message me support.
I was pretty at sea at the time and it was a nice gesture from a complete stranger online. So you win some, you lose some- I've never been sworn at or abused on here before so this is a bit surreal and I have made some good friends here so I won't focus on the anger in this thread too much.
I'm still glad I posted, at least a couple of people managed to respond and tried to have a discussion with me about this and I appreciate that too.

if it's not made up, what makes you think that someone born on a certain month would NOT have the same problems. Did you look through the link of famous actors/actresses who have gone through and have died of drug addiction— they are all under different signs. Are you trying to pinpoint that someone born under these months could NOT possibly have addictions?? or they would have to be different? i dont get it.

like you believe that someone born on a certain month has a different way of being drug or alcohol addicted. I jsut don't see why you would focus on the sign itself. that's what i'm really baffled. like you believe it's for fun and stimulation and boredom. what the hell? if they're bored, there's books to read, and do alot of other activities that require stimulation, even puzzles, online games, so many many things. They can be addicting for any sun sign, and yet here you are, pinpointing that someone on this bday cannot have or it is pointed to these months. It's crazy.i dont understand why you do that.

It's not that crazy, I mean it is an astrological forum over all...
And I've been all over the other boards and there are many discussions about different sun signs and their approach to love, food, technology -just about any topic can be broken down between different placements...
Aries do this that way, Taurus do it another way, Gemini will approach it like this etc etc
So if there is really something to the notion then yes, I believe each sign will have a unique perspective and in this case I'm asking about drug use...
In terms of asking is it for fun, stimulation or boredom, I'm basically complimenting Aquas because I know how their minds dart across multiple topics and how much research they put into topics they love, they have a fast wit and a bright outlook so in a way I'm saying it can't just be a genetic predisposition to addiction, they must have an almost intellectual reason surely.
But look, based on the couple of responses to my topic (that have managed to make it through your hateful diatribe directed at me so personally lol)
So far the response seems to be a simple- it's been for fun- pure and simple, the impression I'm getting from these guys are that perhaps Aquas are not going to necessarily fall into the patterns that others do...
So see? I'm still learning.

I'm going to thank you for your time on here, but I would appreciate it if you please avoid me in the future. I don't need the hurt out here in the real world generated by so much pain over the Internet and I have loved interacting with others on here over the years and so far I would like to keep things friendly and my choice is to interact with people who show me kindness and understanding and respect. As I like to show in return. I'm not interested in fighting with anyone. This is all I will say on that matter.

ok if we want to talk the sign aquarius alone...

i just checked Philip Seymour Hoffman's chart. He is a Cancer sun/Aquarius moon.

and Mischa Barton who has an alcoholic problem is an Aquarius sun/Cancer moon. Her top dominants are Scorpio, Aquarius and Cancer.

and the rest of the others i mentioned from the link, have water suns, or water dominant or water moons, but in the case of Amy Winehouse, she is Virgo sun/Capricorn moon (Cap moon like Johnny Depp) which tends to fall on a deep deep depression.

if we want to get astrological about this, water seeks water in some form. but the addictions aren't Always in the form of drugs, but addictions of other "nature", whether through sports, music, ect But it can be very beneficial if the focus/addiction is through something that doesn't harm their bodies.

You are doing some major projecting, Lisa, on a person due to your own undealt with feelings about drug abuse.

You should check that.

Though, I feel you on the topic. I lost one of my very dear friends last summer from a heroin overdose, one in which started with a 4 year addiction to pain killers. Then once she turned to heroin she overdosed within a year.

And we had so many interventions. Some of the older members here probably remember those 6 weeks that my husband and I locked her up in our house with us (a plan made by her family & friends), and forced her cold-turkey.

But, you have to deal with that and move past it. It sucks, because a drug addict cannot help themselves, an alcoholic cannot help themselves. And though I agree that the motivation of this thread, didn't consider the human suffering involved .... YOUR motivation in responding was to misdirect your anger from your own suffering onto this topic.

You must deal with this. You're a pretty good person from what I have observed, who seems to have a pretty good head on your shoulders. But .... your anger being vented here is irrational.

I agree with everything you've said ... but, even you saying it here isn't helping you deal with your injured feelings. You need a self, right away .. so you can find away to move past it.

It's hard, trust me ... I think of her every fucking day. But, madness won't help. You have to find a perspective to place it.
