Superficial?!!!

SUPERFICIAL ATTACK OR IS IT ME?!!

My aqua-roomate came home yesterday from work and talked about how after various conversations his co-workers (he's in furniture sales) said he was selfish and judgemental and only does things for himself. He was not impressed and I just laughed (because it confirmed my notes on him). I said said it's no big deal, all those salespeople are probally like that too!

Then he half-jokingly said he had always thought that I was superficial. I am slightly bothered by this now and am analyzing this. I always considered very open to various people.

So....taurusgoddess....are YOU going to let some man/other person tell you who you are? C'mon....YOU know who you are - you are very open to people believe in yourself! You are giving away your power if you allow yourself to believe what someone else thinks of you. He can think whatever he wants, let him but DO NOT believe it to be the truth Lady! This is how a man can control a woman and how a woman loses her mind and self confidence.

These other men (salespeople) see him for who he is, they work with him. He too knows who he is...remember, misery loves company. Let his words go in one ear and out the other....if you want him off your back - just agree with him and say - bull's eye buddie- ya got me! Then let it go knowing your are the Taurus Goddess and no one can tell you otherwise.

Hold your beautiful head and heart up sharing your wonderful warmth with your pals 🙂

Please do not waste your precious energy analyzing what he said...poppyc*ck...use your energy on positive thoughts.

I agree with Freebird. Never let someone dictate who you think you are. If you see a pattern of people constantly telling you that, yes, I would suggest you would have to pay attention. But for one person to say something and it be a complete shock to you should tell you the truth of the matter.

He just didn't like beign put down and like Freebird said-misery loves company.

A lot of times I also think Aquas just say s**t to get a rise out of people. They're curious (and analyzing) our reactions.

Thanks guys, was curious to see what your opinions would be. I just know that I've been bestfriends with him for years & we've lived together for 4.5 years now & he is really driving me nuts already. He pushes buttoms and I'm getting sensitive about it already because I don't think that's how you should treat your friends. We are very different and I'm getting pretty tired of his coldness judgementalness. Maybe it's time to move. 😢
