What do you want from the other person when you open up about something private?

Lastly, would you be as receptive if that person began sharing with you?

Flowing water, I'm just curious. I ask because things pop up in my head, and I wonder. I guess what I'm learning about Aquas at this moment, is they don't like answering too many questions. lol.

Aquas are mysterious and original. By asking us many questions you're not figuring us out, your pushing us away.
I've noticed in your recent topics less and less Aquas are answering because at first it was being polite but now, it's just too much.

I also saw how you tried to probe an Aqua mans inner self and he shut you down. One things Aquas HATE is being asked "why is it that you won't open up?" "What are you so afraid of?"

We're not afraid of emotions, we're just very careful of who to show it too. Penny there are things you ask, and there are moments you don't trespass.

I got to agree with you flowing water. I was told by aqua that they talk with everyone but not in an indepth way about themselves except certain people with whom they trust you can't make them trust you they either do or they don't . Also I found the persona they show to the masses is actually not the real them if your lucky to see the reality of who they really are warts and all take it as a compliment.

I was told I talk the most with you and I don't talk that much with others and I was asked if I could pick his brains

Flowing water, Geez, they're just questions, not insights into your soul. I'm not probing anything. You want to keep your secrets among your friends, I get it. It doesn't mean you can't write your thoughts out on an anonymous board.

For a detached sign, you sure do take things quite personal.

Maybe I'm not getting answered much because the Aqua board has been a slow mover as of late. Who cares?

I don't take things personal.

IME, I get the most resistance when I ask questions. Even now, decades later. One or two questions at most is what I can get in, and then it's like, "what's with the 20 questions?!?".

Relevant stuff that comes up during a conversation is the best route. If an Aqua wants you to know, they'll tell you or show you. Don't put them on the spot, and eventually you'll know what you need to know.

Start what they consider an inquisition and you'll never get an answer.

If I said "I vent to my neighbors cat" do you know who my neighbors cat is? Or who I am? I don't know you, will never meet you, and frankly if you died, I wouldn't care. Maybe i'll post a "Aww flowingwater 😢" if there was a thread about you on DXP.

And I know Aquas. I know you're trying to hurt me by saying "If I were to tell you the truth of your aqua man, it will hurt." Meanwhile you don't know jack.

Aquas will say the most hurtful things, with a smile on their faces. And then say "don't get butt hurt"

Takes a lot more than an anonymous person behind a keyboard to get me.

He has me in no games, and he's never gotten cold for weeks. You're totally getting me confused.

The longest we didn't speak for was 5 days, and it was hell for us both. But I know where I stand, thanks to this Aqua board.

My reason for asking this question was because yesterday he opened up to me, with things he wouldn't tell ANYONE else on earth. And I wondered about other Aqua experiences.

And this is the way it is. I don't place any judgement on that, it's just a fact. One of the things I've had to learn living/loving my Aqua is PATIENCE. To the nth degree. Not easy with a Leo sun and Mars. But it's worth the personal growth I've experienced.

Caplove, I know you're right. Sometimes I question if it's the VERY BEST match. That's why I'm here.

Getting offended when I want to get to know him better. It's a good way to look at that.

He always always always thanks me for my patience.

As an Aquarius, I don't normally vent to people. I'm more like Flowingwater described, and very private. Many Aquas will answer the questions people have, but it's mainly on our terms (IMO) and in our own time.

The first comments by sultry and tinxy describe my husband. Other Aqua placements display this also, his being Mars.

I vent to those I trust, I want nothing from them except maybe a hug and just listen. Lastly, my ears are always open for business.

I'll just add my .02 and answer the questions accordingly, things got a little feisty in here lol

People I've built a strong friendship/relationship with. 🙂

Because I've built trust with them, feel they won't leak my secrets out to anyone else.
Another thing is if they've came to me first about their problems, I would try my best to help them and from their the trust would be built between me and that person. 🙂

I vent to my brother all the time we msg each other on fb then we'll go make coffees then call each other and have our smokes and coffee and have big bitch sessions, I also love having a bitch with my friend because we hate the same people and it's fun to just talk shit about ppl we hate.

What do I want from the other person when I open up about something private.? I love having someone with a good sense of humour around so that if u tell them something fucked up they can laugh it off bounce back and get into more gossip
