What is the cause of your impulsive behavior?

Ive read that you are a fixed sign.. but I seem like a rooted oak tree compared to the Aquas around me. Which doesnt make sense because Uranus is my dominant planet according to an online source.

I want to understand what are possible causes of your impulsive behavior.. Probably not emotions eg. blinding Scorpio jealousy. What is it the chart, if not the Sun?

The most impulsive I've met is a Scorpio Moon. The kind to block you on social media and then contact you five minutes later.

Agree. This is one tough moon placement to have, especially with an Aqua Sun...

So an Aqua can’t be impulsive without feeling. We DO feel.

And being Uranus dominant is not the same as being a Sun in Aqua.

Yes, but what is it that pushes you over the edge? What reason is substantial enough to fire up your emotion? For example i have a colleague and a close friend at work who was pregnant but chose to be terminated (emotions over injustice) i thought financial security/practicality wouldve won over at a critical time ie. having a baby.

Another example is an acquaintance who has an (shared) apartment provided by her employer but chose to rent a flat pronto because she claims she doesnt like her housemate and now she is borrowing money from everyone because she is out of budget.

I just want to understand how your mind works.. the rhyme and reason for every decision. Is it bravado/ego that overrides logic and rational deliberation that causes you to jump on an impulse? Or something else?

Im not referring to impulsivity on a petty/inconsequential level that is attributed to Scorpio. It is more the type that has practical/tangible consequences that one cannot take back in 5 minutes.

@vixen and impulsv ~ pride rooted in a strongly opinionated mind.. principles.. ahh thank you. I understand, although our methods are different. The good thing is: our actions have never been in conflict with each other.

I think i might be the most fire dominant Aqua on dxp (49% fire lol) and there are only certain things i am impulsive about (shopping, food, and my emotions at times). I don't make rash or sudden decisions when it comes to career, finances or anything long term. I crave stability and structure.

Yeah I can’t understand where the frustration can come in. But I the good thing aquas are open to see the other side if you have a good case. Usually Libras can help see that side and have the temper to qualm an Aquas stubbornness. Just do you. Lol

No im not frustrated at all by their actions. More like puzzled by their choices. We have respect for each other's choices (esp that pregnant friend). No conflict occured between us. It was the smoothest collaboration at work ive ever had experienced. I will miss that company. Air signs were the majority there, plus sag and cancer. Freedom in a way thats still productive.

I can relate to the pride part but that has slowly dissipated over the years.

I do tend to make decisions rather quickly but I also process things in my brain a lot faster fully aware of certain consequences. I just rather view those consequences as a new way of experiencing things.

My friends often think I'm impulsive but I told them I have a network of options available to me and I'll never fully follow down ONE path but more so taking an alternative path that'll lead me to the same goal. *shrugs* I've been good at burning bridges but equally as well as constructing one.
