I love it, I love their relationship, she- the crazy, ready to do everything, ambitious young woman,with her specific kind of beauty, and he- the older man, amused by her spirit, looking down on her, ready to help her, to love her, while they hate eachother, love eachother. she was so out there and i dont think she would want a "stable" man, because that would BORE her.
Diego was an accomplished artist, very passionate, although he could never be monogamous/faithful,
he did love her alot.
it's a very strange pairing but they are fated. they can't live without eachother.

I remember walking through a park in Rome and found a statue of Byron with a poem that stuck to me. Probably my favorite poem through the years. So when I came back home and looked at his life and found out about Shelley and him and learned she was born the same day as I...lmao, so many things clicked in why that poem appealed to me.
"But I have lived, and have not lived in vain:
My mind may lose its force, my blood its fire,
And my frame perish even in conquering pain;
But there is that within me which shall tire
Torture and Time, and breathe when I expire;"
Then again Byron was a fucboi before the term was even invented. My favorite story of him is how he brought his pet BEAR with him for college. Such an aqua.

My grandmother made him his breakfast every day, and he was an Engineer (like my Leo Dad) and he would make the money. They played tennis together, both were really good at painting and drawing. They never argued and she was always so proud of him and my Leo Dad.They lost a daughter and barely spoke of it. When my Grandfather’s health started declining he told me she had Down syndrome and she passed away. He never even told my Dad, an only child that. They were so loving, and so private.
He was such a sweetheart and knew he couldn’t do anything without her. He was the man of the house hold but my grandmother really was the head of house. She passed away first, and he’d always talk to her by the hutch in the living room. And he never yelled. One time he did and my sisters and I were frozen in shock, lol
I don’t know how to explain it, but some of my best memories as a child was when I was staying with them. My sister bought there house and just moved in. My Dad could have sold it for over half a million but he’d rather keep it in the family which I’m glad about.
So long, my apologies. It’s one of those days.
