I just finished dating Aries Male with Venus in Taurus and he totally did the 5th gear/brakes thing with me. Only thing is, he blamed it on ME being too hot and cold.
Aries Women are feisty but I'd imagine that the Taurus Venus would give her a little more caution. Makes sense - her Aries tells her to go into 5th gear and her Taurus tells her to step on the brakes.
My guess is that, despite what she said about it being either one or the other, she's gonna give you both...alternating between the two indefinitely. Not a bad thing, just be ready for it!

She hasn't slammed on the brakes or pulled back in a few weeks now. It's all 5th gear lately. As long as I give her some space when she's stressed, she's good
