It's not Oprah's fault that viewers take her word as gold. They need to snap out of the trance themselves. Any book, product or trend that Oprah says is amazing has everyone flipping out their credit cards. I must say that just because "Oprah said it" has made a lot of very happy people some happy money. She knew what she was doing.

Agreed, but she also needs to exercise caution with what she says and does and with the info she presents. She's had to learn that the hard way a few times.
